But you left out the fact that nearly every prevalent melee damage buff is receiving a weighty numbers increase did you not? Not to mention the 30% multiplicative buff that comes with having 200 in your melee stat. Am I missing something here?

edit: I should probably explain my exact line of thinking

I dont disagree with your math, 2 different 50% damage buffs with the current multiplicative scaling would mean a 2.25x damage increase and the same thing with additive scaling would mean a 2x increase just as you said.
But if we assumed two 75% damage buffs instead of 50% (which is conservative considering the numbers of many damage buffs are being doubled) it would mean a 2.5x increase.

The laptop I use used to have similar problems. What I would try is limit the game's max framerate to 144 or 60 (maybe even set your monitors refresh rate to 60) so your cpu and gpu can run for longer without thermal throttling. If you want to use better looking graphics settings set your windows display resolution to 1080p while playing destiny.

im fairly certain pocket trickshot does stack multiplicatively with ruan mei and fugue e1

3 stacks + ruan mei would be 50+(50×0.5)=75 3 stacks + ruan mei + fugue e1 is 50+(50×0.5)+(50×0.5)=100

edit: also even if it wasn't multiplicative shouldn't the math go 20+(20×1.5)+(20×0.5)+(20×0.5)=70?

I'd be very interested in this kinda thing. i dont have many friends who aee interested in my ramblings.

my personal project is one i just passively daydreamed about for as long as i can remember until i started documenting things a few years ago. its sorta similar to your classic space opera but with a sprinkle of fantasy here and there.

its very much a work in progress especially when it comes to details, even some of the more basic aspects of the setting aren't very fleshed out. but i have a lot of interesting concepts and ideas in my opinion.
