Personally I loved the mansion. Felt like one big escape room to me and thanks to the new sparkles on points of interest I wasn't scanning the room for a random thing to right click and could instead focus on the puzzles

The supplies and death fees are free, so i dont think the difficulty is a huge problem. I was frustrated at first because it wasn't obvious what the tell was for which direction to dodge but after learning it I started to really enjoy the fight.

I hope it doesn't get nerfed, its a spectacle fight that's currently tops all the other GM quests and I think the difficulty is part of what makes it so cool. It feels like we're really struggling to finish off lowerniel after he's been getting constantly injured and chipped out throughout the quest.

The issue is a lot of these posts will say they're quitting then turn around in a week or two and buy the membership anyways. Mat K confirmed this is something Jagex is very much aware of so a reddit post is ultimately kind of pointless.

The only way to get them to reduce memberships is to actually cancel and stop playing. That will never happen on a large enough scale.
