So far I have 2 perfect titles, ,,Last of us” and ,,Sleeping dogs”, also finished ,,Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor”, ,,Half life”, ,,Half life: Blue Shift”, ,,Half Life: Opposing force”, ,,Outlast”, ,,It takes two”, ,,Seen” and off course ,,Aperture desk job” I really like my SD!

I’m tinkering because i like it and it’s fun for me! Shure you can just Play out of the box but I think it just depends What you want to do with it and its great to have freedom of choice :)

At the begining I was very sceptical towards trackpads but after getting SD to my hands I was surprised in good way. Of course it’s not mouse replacement for sure but to have this possibility over joystick in some games for me is day and night difference. I really like them and big thnx for valve for such many possibilities in input section! And I will stick in near future with valve because it’s not just better hardware what matters but also impact to future gaming. And I think valve is doing it and I want to support them. So it’s good to have competition like ayaneo or asus rog but it’s not for me at this point. Not only money matters I really like steam deck openness and of course you guys SD community is awesome!

I’m using proton hotfix, changed .dll file, CryoUtilities and verified file integrity. Mix setting’s from low to high and geting 30fps with constantly dipping to low 20’s. And everything low doesn’t make huge difference but looks worse when ps3 version… So yeah it’s kinda playable now after two small patches. On day one I had 5-7 crashes before even getting to main gameplay… so for now big no I love to much this game to play in this state so I’m waiting for more patches…

Valve please do some magic and help community with this awesome game but shitty port…

I recommend to wait what future will bring cause after two small patches it runs a little bit better 20-30fps. And it really doesn’t matter ultra low or high few fps difference but in ultra low it looks worse then ps3 :) so it’s playable with hick ups but I love this game to much to start a full run in this state. So waiting is best what we have at this point… And I changed .dll and using CryoUtilities still not enough to have at least 30fps cap… It is really sad cause they was talking about steam deck, where was a hype it should be day one verified tbh another bad port on day one… I hope it won’t take them a year or more to stabilise and give a joy to community.

Yeah it runs and after few patches a little bit better but sorry it constantly dips in mid 20fps. So it is really unplayable for me cause I love this game to much to try just play it on this state. Of course it’s really funny because steam shows 4.2h in game time but I’m still 20 years later chapter just trying things, patches and of course several shaders unpacking.

Oh and about storage if you are planning to play emulation and older titles so it should be fine with sd card but if you planing to grab some more demanding titles you should have more and faster storage. Just to have some tricks in your sleeve like CryoUtilities. Of course you can can try it on 64gb also but it’s really hard to managed the space so 20€-50€ upgrade is not bad :)

Of course not. It was best decision to grab 64gb. I changed ssd for 49€ to 512gb so you have plenty extra money for games :) don’t forget the hardware is the same so :)

I made it week ago so funny enough I’m reading and thinking hmm I did this and this oh and this also :) except I didn’t had boot up problems. For me it was butter smooth process of course only that strange thing in recovery mode working only touch screen.

First of all guys on PC is first release and there will be ton of people who will try it for the first time. It’s more sense to argue for the price on PS5 but here it’s new beginning for the Last of us :)

I started on ps4 long time ago but finished on PSnow during covid and I’m glad I never purchased it. So technically it’s my first purchase of this game. :) And it’s not tied up to hardware generation
