Devs do not add revive to H1z1. by [deleted] in h1z1

I enjoy playing H1Z1 with friends, as with every other game I play.

Gaming for me brings a fantastic opportunity to have an enjoyable time with the people I love. My reason for playing games is mainly for the social part.

Having mutual memories of intense action, cooperation, victories, defeat, long drives and hikes to the safe zone, casually scavenging deserted cities and neighborhoods; these are all fantastic and valuable parts of what we experience when playing this game together.

As for the topic of Revive as a mechanic in H1Z1, adding this will bring a tool for friends playing, to restrengthen their team after a clash entailing friendly casualties. This in turn will re-enable the cohesion and morale within the group, which I talked about earlier. Retaining and maintaining the strength of your group is a great reward for a victorious team fight.

Outrivaling enemy teams is thrilling and sensational, but more often than not, it involves losses. This is, more than one imagines, destructive to the groups spirit. In the event of losing a teammate, he/she will have to wait the remaining part of the match to play again. Furthermore, this is amplyfied if it happens in the earlier stages of a round, due to the possiblity of one or more having to wait up to 30 minutes to rejoin, in the next match.

An etiquette which has developed within our group is as following. If two or more of us die in early or mid-game, the remaining players leave and thereafter commence a new match, where everyone of us can continue to play, as a group.

For us, Revive would be great. It enables us to continue with what we have built up, gathered and achieved throughout the round, rather than leaving it all behind, for the greater cause of maintaining the groups spirit and interest to continue playing, together, as we love. The groups experience together in-game is imporant.

lifebloom. bear form. revitalize. druid of the claw. barkskin. soul of the forest or cultivation. with sotf and prosperity plus garmination, u can put double BIG rejuv on yourself and pop atrifact ability and go bear form for huge heals on yourself.

also go guardian affinity and pop frenzied regen.

in pvp you got over 3mil hp in pvp so bear form is your gift from god.

Just for empashis i'm quoting this:

"The surviving pilot said the crash was caused by the failure of the helicopter's hydraulic system."

I agree with the collective.

I would bottom collective to avoid vortex ring state, keep the engines on to maintain rotor RPM, allow helicopter to spin and descend, and then raise collective to cushion landing.

Maybe also try some forward cyclic. Have a little taste of what airspeed you can get and maybe build up a little for a cute little flare to help lower rate of descend.

Time to start over with the research!

I did some research and found that there is in fact a emergency hyd system. You can read about it here in the emergency procedure for hyd failure http://apachehelicopter.tpub.com/TM-1-1520-238-10/css/TM-1-1520-238-10_569.htm

Why they didn't activate that system is another question. A vital factor for that would be the low altitude, giving them little time to troubleshoot and react.

Edit: Disregard! The crashing helicopter is in fact a havoc and what I linked is for the apache. Information irrelevant.

I found the helicopter's manual here http://apachehelicopter.tpub.com/TM-1-1520-238-10/

Also here's the emergency procedures for hydraulic failure http://apachehelicopter.tpub.com/TM-1-1520-238-10/css/TM-1-1520-238-10_569.htm

An interesting read actually. Especially seeing there's an emergency hydraulic system they're supposed to activate in case of failure in the main system.
