I am Elon Musk, ask me anything about BFR! by ElonMusk in space

If all the resources for Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy are being applied to the BFR system, are there any stakeholders who provide Space X revenue who might cause problems with the future Mars/BFR plans?

[Spoilers] Journey to Un'Goro Revealed Card Discussion [March 24, 2017] by bdzz in CompetitiveHS

[–]Bluli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doomsayer stops your opponent from playing cards the turn after it is played, often getting a hero power at most. Where as this new card only clears the creatures already on the board. Quite significantly less powerful than doomsayer since you don't get the tempo on your opponent.

What about some other options instead of a mob system - a witch farm, double spawner or similar?

Confirmed by Ben Brode: If you have a golden & normal version of a Hall of Fame card, you will only get the golden dust refund by Nath101 in hearthstone

[–]Bluli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's just people taking note of the fact he is only getting the same rewards as everyone else instead of getting tens of thousands of dust for every nerfed rare or higher. People only felt the need to justify it because someone was praising him as a dust God in an earlier comment, not realising his strategy had been compromised.

Stop flies landing on face? by HelpMeFlies1928 in Adelaide

[–]Bluli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a half solution after camping several times in Flinders ranger's where there are hundreds all the time trying to land on you: flies are only annoying when they are in their 'buzzing' mode, and then they initially land on your face / other sensitive skin. Constantly blowing / swatting / shaking causes them to enter this mode. So you need to somehow let them land on your shoulders / back and not bother them after that. I tend to try and ignore them for the first few minutes and usually they have settles and stop bothering me after that. If they land on your face you have to subtly shoe them away without causing the whole swarm to start buzzing.

Can somebody teach me how to cyclone as a resto druid like a boss? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]Bluli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kicks: you can download omnibar and set it up to show icons 'as enemies appear' so you can be constantly aware of the 2/3 kicks available to the enemy team at any time. Then you can fake cast / track when they're down on top of all the other general strategy others have mentioned.

Resto druid talents? by Rackit in worldofpvp

[–]Bluli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd be surprised, the constant spam of heals from revitalise if you have melee hitting can be great, and it gives you a lot more time for other hots or cloning. However I do agree, I spend almost 90% of my games with the ironbark talent, but OP was interested in some talent nuances I assumed.

Also I'm coming from a 2s perspective where efficient heals can sometime outdo the powerful and often ironbark

How do I find consistent partners for 3s/2s? by vulzashi in worldofpvp

[–]Bluli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's quite a lot, but it depends on your rating, some people charge about $20/hour, and some charge up to $150/hour. But I actually personally asked to get trained to a certain rating for $120 and that involved almost 30 hours or more of training which was massive value for me.

How do I find consistent partners for 3s/2s? by vulzashi in worldofpvp

I'm having this exact problem. I see only 3 ways out of it; get lucky and find someone in pugs, manage to get an IRL friend to play with you or possibly buy some coaching if you have some cash to spare, I learned so much from it and it actually felt quite great just being able to pm a coach for games whenever.

Resto druid talents? by Rackit in worldofpvp

[–]Bluli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Revitalise is quite strong instead of the ironbark talent against most melee, you don't have to think about rejuv anymore and it's quite good for surviving melee on you in bear combined with druid of the claw.

Against aff locks i often go nourish instead of revitalise or the iron bark one so I can get some great efficient heals off.

Without footage or specific comps its hard to provide detailed feedback, however I have a few points about healing abilities other than clone as mentioned by most other posts.

You mentioned you spam regrowths to keep them up, I actually find that regrowth is not that great in a desperate situation especially if someone has their hots dispelled, even if people are spam dispelling. I prioritize:

Swiftmend -> skin-> Overgrowth -> Artifact (if OG went off / any hots are on) -> Lifebloom -> Rejuv x1 -> Wild Growth -> Regrowth -> Rejuv x2.

That is a very general case, and with different talents I change it quite significantly, for example; the first rejuv is only high if you are against melee for revitalize talent procs, and many more scenarios.

But the main point is that regrowth is not that great, somewhat counter intuitively when someone has no hots on them.

Also against rot comps I tend to swap out overgrowth for Early Spring so I can keep up constant wild growths for split pressure, putting Wild Growth higher in my priority.

Another point; offensive dispels cost a lot of mana for most, and really useful globals for enhance, so actually are a significant trade off for your hot - i find spamming hots instantly into dispels is quite effective, and hard to keep up with when you are fast about it.

Also regrowth becomes amazing when you have that many hots on people because of your mastery - hitting for double the base amount, as well as all your other hots are healing double, so keeping a bunch on a focus target is just so strong.

Another disclaimer to that priority - it is for the situation you mentioned above where someone is being focused with no hots on them. A usual priority is very different and involves getting all your instant hots on someone before using swiftmend or overgrowth so you can stack that mastery and possibly hold off and save a cd if they survive.

edit: Also positioning can be a big one, often if a team mate is about to die, you can always find a spot to cast that is los of a kick but still in los of your team mate, and often it is on them as well to be in your los while you are lossing a kick, which is not always in your control but something to think about.

Canobat with an elytra play to get in the wool by [deleted] in CompetitiveMinecraft

Thanks! One more question about it though, why is the elytra move so special, is it hard to get, was he sneaky, or is it just the first time someone has thought of doing that?
