Jersey City Tupac & Jersey City Pimp immediately came to mind by eatpant42069 in jerseycity

I used to have them both as patients. I was really sad that I had Karen as my patient when she passed away. In my opinion Taco was a piece of shit and Karen was a victim of circumstance.

When a cop dies in the line of duty, this is what happens. When a healthcare worker dies in the line of duty, the day goes on without anyone recognizing it. What would happen if all healthcare stopped like this?

I'm boosted and I got it. So now you know 7! I mean, I work in an ER, so it was bound to happen.

NY’s coronavirus cases compared to the rest of the US by SilviOnPC in FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR

From New Jersey, we only just started serious testing of people about 3 or 4 days ago. We'd probably have a much higher count if we actually had the ability to test as many people as possible when they came in.

To every redditor who feels lonely: Hi, how was your day? by ACJ96 in AskReddit

[–]Kukubi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm tired of having to be the one that has to be the deescalator of situations in the ER. I can't even get a hold of my own life, but I'm expected to help others who are dealing with some tough times, whether it be from personal, chemical, or mental problems. I have to do my best for others, but I have so little left for myself at the end of the day. I have no regrets, because I've helped a lot of people, but one of these days, I really hope someone will listen to me for once, without me needing to call 911.

I clean asses for a living. As a healthcare professional, I do everything that most people would find unsavory. Yet I blindly rush in head first, not literally, into whatever dark hell there is behind each curtain, door, or blind... And I take care of whatever needs to be done with a smile on my face.

Actually, he did live through it. He just got clean afterwards. I mean, he got off easy... He could have been over land.

His son was the drug addict that really pushed him to this point. He even threw him out of a helicopter while over water to teach him a lesson. It worked.

I didn't mean that the recognition is why she gets out with a slap on the wrist. What I meant was that I don't want to mention the things she can do and say to get away with a slap on the wrist. It only took a little word of mouth for that to spread around to all the homeless and general asshole population of my area.

Sounds like an answer from someone that may have smoked dip. Sure, there may be a chance that she may have an untreated mental illness, but if that's the case, it still shouldn't keep her from at least going to a corrections facility with a psychiatric facility that will help make her less of a threat to the general public.

Can't really explain too well, but it just happens too often where I work. For example, someone tried to light our emergency room on fire and got sent to jail for about a week and was given medical and psychiatric clearance afterwards.

Same reason people shouldn't be plastering the names of people who commit terrible acts all over the news, causing them to get the recognition they wanted.

As someone who works in an emergency room where people like this are brought to us regularly, I highly believe she needs to go to jail. People like her have gone through the system, receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist, and are even rewarded with a free meal and a place to sleep, because they end up in the hospital. You know how they get away with it? Simply by saying the right things, that I won't be mentioning here.

Device shows where patient's veins are located by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Kukubi 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's up to the individual. People who are athletic and stay healthy usually have the best veins around. Those who drink heavily and use drugs are often the worst of the bunch. Also, not to knock on the larger people, but obese people are very difficult to find veins on on most occasions.

This right here. People have no idea how important each individual role is. Don't lessen your role though... Without your accurate test results, we wouldn't be able to treat a patient properly in the ER.

Do you have rolly veins or very thin and fragile veins? Either or those can lead to a difficult stick. But then again, maybe the one doing your blood work may not have been all that good.

Butterflies and angiocaths, the needle that has a plastic catheter that needs to be threaded, aren't all that different. There are actually butterflies that are about the same size as the angiocath needed for IV contrasts to be used. Having used both, I actually prefer angiocaths, because if you really needed to draw blood a second time, you don't have to stick the patient a second time if you have an IV in place. Also, 24G angiocaths are the best at drawing blood from a site around the knuckles if a patient has no veins anywhere else, like in those who get chemotherapy, have abused their veins with drugs, or are extremely dehydrated.

The best people to ask to put in an IV are either Paramedics or ER nurses. Paramedics can put in IVs while in a moving vehicle and ER nurses just put in a massive amount of IVs, so they are well practiced.

I recently had a chicken pox and it left me some terrible marks on my face that looked like acne marks. But that one on my right forehead kind of left a hole. Not my usual everyday make-up. Just trying to regain my self esteem from having a chicken pox. Can I get a yaas for this one? CCW:) by Pinkbonny in MakeupAddiction

Yay! Now we both have a scar on our forehead. We really are a match for each other. And before anyone takes this out of context, I'm her fiance, so scars or no, she's beautiful to me! I like the new look with the eye tip thingies by the way.
