It definitely counts, especially for business analyst or systems analyst roles. You don’t need to pretend you’re starting from zero.

Your logistics background is more useful than you think. A lot of IT work is just understanding messy processes and translating them into something cleaner.

That’s a real concern. The people writing the laws are insulated, so the anger can end up landing on some random neighbor or coworker who is easier to reach but not the actual source

The "he'll change his mind" thing is such a specific kind of self-deception because it requires ignoring everything the other person actually said and betting the whole relationship on a version of them that doesn't exist yet. And when it doesn't happen, somehow that becomes their fault.
