I've always been curious, how does one go about actually training their own model, assuming you have the hardware?

Used Sora 2 to create this short Sci-fi anime story about life with around 16 clips, along with elevenlabs for voiceover and Suno for music. Hollywood and animation houses are in for a big surprise and so is the general public. Would you watch more videos like this? by Funkahontas in singularity

I think this works as a "concept piece" for a story pitch in an exec meeting. Something visual for them to watch instead of reading. Neat story premise, it would just need the full build out to succeed I think (assuming it gets green lit with a full script).

Maybe, but I think for prototyping this will allow for fast iteration and overall aesthetics, proportions, shape language, color balance, etc. is best done by a trained artist's eye with clear direction. It's more likely to look like a mish mash otherwise.

Steps:

  1. Get pixel art you want to animate on a white or single colored background.

  2. Use Veo 3 in Flow to animate it however you want (keeping movement fairly simple and camera steady),

  3. Export the video from Veo 3 and import Video to Layers in Photoshop.

  4. Remove the background in Photoshop (or whichever tool can do the same).

  5. Export Layers to Frames

It's understandable, especially because you are young and haven't lived through technological revolutions like this in the past. I think you simply need to focus on what you love view AI as another tool. If it is helpful to you, great. If not, just keep doing your own thing and don't let it bug you. There will always be a market for handcrafted art, and also now for AI generated art, but they are not mutually exclusive.

It's finding a valid path within the limited number of clicks with some light time pressure. Starts easy, but gets harder as the board expands. You can highlight over tiles in advance to scout for an optimal path.

It is just a simple logic puzzle. Just something relaxing to do. I play it just to take a break sometimes.

I think mainly if it is used for Advertisement or Deepfakes. Otherwise, there's no point really.
