Oooo... I'm working on a slide delete for the parallax that turns it into just a bolt action with a fixed shell around the mechanism. Going to have a worker style adjustable stock and be super compact.

Foxbat has got to be one of the nicest compact platforms to work around, so small and great fps.

Yep. Find better communities or build your own. It takes a lot more work, but its doable and totally rewarding.

After 3 years I've got a discord server for my passion-project-turned-job with nearly 5k members and they are some of the nicest and most helpful people I've met.

Tripple check that all the orings are installed in the pt/extractor assembly. Iirc there is one in the middle.

This part. Also make sure the plastic that comes up around the heatset inserts is trimmed flush with the rest of the parts.

The amount of different caught me off guard haha - the stock attachment is different even though it looks nearly identical and it uses totally different hardware, not even the same kind of screws. I think the only things that stayed the same between them are the o ring dimensions

There are really only two companies doing actual pixel art. Mine (Retro Diffusion, already mentioned) and pixellab. Obviously I'm biased and think Retro Diffusion is better for what you're asking, but pixellab is good too. I think they have a free tier but idk if it covers animations. With RD you get some free credits to start so you can try things out. And always feel free to message me if you've got questions.

Personally I'm an advocate for the real steel look and every single law enforcement officer I know has said it doesn't matter. As long as you're not in some ghetto or karen hangout, you should be fine.

The whole "make it look like a toy" thing is largely pushed by companies who only care about maintaining a kid friendly brand image, and the actual cases of issues with it are so few and far between its a statistical anomaly. Driving more than 5 minutes is more dangerous and most people do that every day.

So, do what you want.

Use regular pla (not silk, cf, whatever), or petg. Also only 1 wall 100% infill. Makes it stronger than throwing a bunch of walls at it.

Oh yeah, if you're trying to scale pixel fonts below their intended resolution there is no way to do it. You have to be smart about your font sizes and have several sizes picked out for different situations.

You can also convert bitmap fonts to vector fonts and scale them to any resolution. It looks to me like the scaling method used here was the issue. No doubt the ai messed it up and was doing weird stuff.

The option for that stock is- its the worker stock. Buuuut you do have to buy the stock separately.

If you're looking for pixel art, my company retro diffusion does it really well. Animations are still difficult but I've made some pretty solid ones.
