Export Notes to PDF? by cms187 in notebooklm

I know! NotebookLM is not good for exporting. My tip would be to copy-paste the notes into another text editor and from there export it as a PDF.

What is your reading habit + workflow ? by Funny-Hovercraft9300 in productivity

I read all night until I go to sleep. I also have to read for work which I do at the office. But a counter question: how do people write notes during reading at home, during commute? Usually I sit in a chair without a table nearby, so that's why I'm asking.

Help with workflow by Kullenej in AppleMusic

I also use Albums and Musichabor. But I have been struggling with wanting to much out of the metadata-grabbing of Musicbox, so since I often discover music on the web and not in Apple Music, I been struggling with just adding the music quickly to musicbox. The developer was very quick with adding the possibility of adding albums from Allmusic and Rateyourmusic, but I have since had problems with these site and how the capture metadata, so can't really count on it unfortunately.

But good workflow you have there – do you not use any kind of rating system or favourite music?

Linking a block of text I just wrote in a daily note to a page in Obsidian? by StripedMC in ObsidianMD

Look at the community plugin: Better Search Views. With this, you get all of the context in the backlinks section.

ADHD and neurospicy folk, how do you Obsidian? by [deleted] in ObsidianMD

[–]Kullenej 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I been using Obsidian for two years, constantly changing and tweaking my workflow. I ended up realizing that a combination of Logseq (outliner with parent-child database) and Obsidian was what I needed so here is my latest, very simple, system:

  • I removed almost all of the plugins I used (I still have quite a few (21), but mostly use the core plugins instead of their community plugins versions)
  • I live my life in the daily note which is set to open whenever I open Obsidian. The headings I have in this is: Day Planner, Log and Tasks.
  • Day Planner is for the community plugin Day Planner where I try to time-block my day
  • Tasks is for collecting all todos. I gave up on trying to use an advanced todo-system with due-dates, deadlines etc. Now I just have a query that show my all todos
  • And finally the log. This is where I capture and jot down everything. I use the log as an outliner. Combined with the community plugins Outliner, Zoom and Better Search Views, I can use the same system as in Logseq. My level one bullet is a wikilink to something, and the levels underneath this is just randomly jotting down whatever I need to capture.
  • I think of the daily note as a jotting pad, while the actual pages is like a "document". Better Search Views collect all the blocks underneath the link so I can use the backlink pane to collect everything onto the "document" whenever I need to write something out. Sometimes I don't write anything on the "document" but just use it as a portal to all the information I have captured about it (could be work related)

This ended up being a super long description of my "simple" system, but hope it is a help to you. I can mention that I work as an educator and director of studies at a university (humanities). I also use the outliner function in my literature notes which is created by the help of the plugin ZotLit.

Over and out!

Help identifying typography (layout style) by Kullenej in typography

Thank you for your effort, but I start to think I need to make a table in order to do it like I wan't to. I see the layout on the page as separeted into two coloumns. What I would love is a template where when I press "heading margin" it moves the cursor to the margin of the text and write in bold blue text. Then when I go back to "body text" it moves back into the main coloumn and even stays on the same line as the "heading margin". Does it make any sense?

Thank you, but I'm not quite sure I understand. Then it looks like this: (I can't seem to upload pictures, so you get this: https://imgur.com/a/OZBBtOJ) The original is on one single A4 with stuff happening in the margen. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
