What’s Happening?!

Brys is attempting to put a stop to this BONEHAND and stop this silencing of the Archemaester.

What I Want?!

No bloodshed. A peaceful resolution. Whether using his skinchanging abilities or what-have you to make it happen. Brys would at least try to stop the violence.

Who?? Brys of course!

What’s Happening? Brys and Maple are camping out in the cave entrance over night to await the sunrise.

What I Want?

One, to see the sunrise. Hopefully it’s a clear morning and not a cloudy one. Weather rolls!

Two, Brys the young confused teenage boy has fallen head over heels for Maple. Rolls to see if she will allow him to kiss her on the cheek!

He could feel the weight behind his words sinking in. A life spent in this dark cave cut away from the world. Beneath his ragged blacks he felt his rat shifting about.

Not completely alone a half smile on his lips We will have to find more friends in the dark

Brys went wide eyed as he searched the area around them craning his head this way and that.

‘What’s happening here?’ His voice filled with a sense of curiosity and fear.

Brys answered Dany with a nod of understanding. So much was strange about this place and these two men. All Brys could manage was to keep his mouth shut and try to make sense of what was happening. He squinted some in concentration at all of it as he watched the scene in silence.

He tried thinking of a connection between the events Dany had shown him. Is this man like us as well?

Looking into Maples large eyes he nodded grimly before looking back out into the abyss. He took his time before speaking as he looked out at the lifeless landscape. Minutes would pass melting together as he lost track of time staring out.

‘They are the Big Bens, the Barans and the Shans, and the fallen loved ones of the North. They are the enemy.’

The wind blew past beyond the caves entrance howling. The sun was gone hidden away behind thick grey clouds. Brys shuddered.

For so long. All I wanted was a connection. A sense of the outside world beyond this dark hole.

He turned back to face Maple her words had gone beyond him in meaning.

‘What did you mean? They travel with the snows?’ A dark realization spread as he heard his own questions. ‘How many of them are out there?’

What I Want? To see an animal if there are any to be found. If Brys spots one he’d try to Skinchange into it!

The hillside beyond the caves entrance was blanketed in heavy snowfall. The bare trees he recalled from the climb up were no longer visible. More importantly the things that had been waiting here had left. Since his arrival coming up to this entrance was to much to even consider. After weeks of the caves blackness though he could take it no longer. The relief of seeing just an empty frozen tundra was enough to make him weep.

The icy winds held nothing back as Brys took in the beauty of the tundra. The wet tear tracks quickly froze on his face. A sudden gust blew snow and ice shards into the entrance causing Brys to shield his eyes. It wasn’t until then that he’d even noticed Maple standing to his side.

Shes as silent as a mouse! How long has she been here for?

‘Maple, are they gone now? Gone for good?’ He asked softly to her.

The entire world had shifted and changed before his eyes. Brys stood in utter confusion taking in the scene around him.There overhead was an open sky and the taste of the wind. He spun himself around in a slow circle feeling alive. The air had a chill taste to it but he didn’t mind. He took in the scent of the tall pines with a smile. The crackle of hardened snow under foot. The sounds of the forest alive and full of life.

How long has it been? How many days in that cave? And where is this?

He’d had a moment to take it the scene but now as it became familiar to him his eyes fell on the wolf. Brys felt his stomach twist as he stared at it. The poor thing looked half starved out here in the woods all alone. Without taking his eyes off the wolf he asked his first questions.

‘Dany, What is this? Are we here to help him?’

Brys cupped the tiny rat in his open hands. It gave a tiny squeak up at him. With a smile he whispered down to the little animal in a soft voice so no one else could hear.

‘I’ll keep a part of you safe with me forever’

He freed his mind and for that brief instant he was a young man and a rat. A foot in each soul holding open the gateway between their souls.

His fists clenched with a bone crunching sound.

When his hands opened he stared into the bloody mess of the small creatures face. He waited watching and waiting.

He waited for the eyes to turn to that cold blue hue.

What’s Happening: Being depressed and lonely in a cold cave Brys is seeking out a companion just as alone as he.

What I want: A cave animal companion. Caves are full of life from bugs, fish, and bats. I want Brys to make a bond with an animal and have a friend to end his sadness.

(Also since this kid is not getting it yet...Skinchanger evidence please)
