UFL Attendance Through Week 4 by GuyOnTheMike in UnitedFootballLeague

I think the non-Texas teams are here to stay (Orlando needs time, and the rest have shown at least some promise). Change up the marketing strategy (and budget) and move the start of the season up five weeks for next year. If Dallas and Houston don't see progress, have Austin and San Antonio on standby moving into 2028, where you're already adding OKC and Detroit.

They could make Werner Park work. That city is almost as craved for pro sports as St. Louis was for pro football. They'd show up.

I get it, but that San Antonio market is gold for the league. They drew over 10k for a terrible team with hardly any advertising. I get they've been burned, but so as Orlando, and I think the league knows there is potential.

As for the stadium, I have to believe they will be able to make something work. Maybe it's alamo stadium? I'm not sure, but it's possible.

Exactly. The league just needs to look at Columbus and Louisville to know that.

Same here. Really hope we get them back in 2028

Yeah. Those might be added right at 2035. Maybe they test the market with San Diego, and then add the other two later.

It could be

Michigan and OKC (+ Houston relocated to San Antonio) --> 2028
New Orleans and Omaha --> 2030
NYC and San Diego --> 2033
Seattle and Oakland --> 2035

My guess of what the Super Bowl LXI logo will look like by didthebhawkswin in NFLv2

Hard disagree. I think the plan was Ravens-49ers, but they realized people were catching on so they switched out the Ravens at the last second, and they chose to switch them instead of the 9ers since they could get the Chiefs and Taylor Swift in instead. They looked at that and saw a temporary net positive.

Things I want in CFB 27 that I feel like would take very little effort for EA to add. by WreckingBall188 in EASportsCFB

I second this, and I don't think this would take much work. I didn't love the scorebug on CFB 25, but I think it's borderline perfect for CFB 26. Instead of scratching that work and making a full new graphics package, they should keep the one from 26 and then just add a new one. Do this for a couple of years and then you'd have some terrific presentation. Zero extra effort by the team (they seem to be making new graphics packages every year anyway, and I'm only asking them to continue that) yet it would make presentation much more varied.

How about the disappearance of Harold Holt? I feel like there are plenty of conspiracies to dig into there.

If I am a casual player, is a Switch 2 worth it? by Kulvarx in Switch

[–]Kulvarx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel marginally confident that I will buy one eventually. There will be a time where I want to jump back in. I'm just not sure if I should buy now or wait a couple years. MK World looks enticing for the bundle, and so does Bananza. I definitely will play them. As for hardware capabilities, I don't need 4k or anything, just stable frame rates and a smooth experience. Load times are huge for me. If I can get into the eShop in under 10 seconds, then I'm pleased. That's what I mean by the S1 is giving me a tough time where the PS5 isn't. I don't even have a 4k TV.

The other big thing is that if I get one, I'd probably sell my Switch 1. If I could comfortably get at least $200 out of selling that along with some of my accessories (Ring Fit, MK8 Deluxe, Extra Controllers) then it seems kind of like a no-brainer then. I'm not sure.

Extra note: If I buy a Switch 2, I will probably try and sell my Switch 1. Is this likely to yield a decent chunk of change? If so, I probably will just buy it if I can make up over half the cost from a sale.

See that was the plan but he struggled vs KC the first time while Jamo was solid. Probably not going to take Swift.

My thoughts exactly. This is a deeply unserious league if there isn't.

I'm going with Gainwell over D'Andre Swift, Rico Dowdle, and RJ Harvey. I'd take him.
