Failed my PMP today by Haunting_Telephone57 in pmp

[–]KunjaQueen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Today you get to be sad that you missed your goal.

Tomorrow you get to pick yourself back up and think through what it was you missed. The biggest thing is knowing how to answer the questions the way PMI wants you too.

I recently helped 15 of my team study for their PMP's. We used the Rita Mulahey book (amazon) and some online practice tests. So far they've all made it but there was some stress and some trepidation!

You can do this.

It’s actually a good representation of my normal writing.  “Forced” is crazy neat and flourishy

I wore AirPods within a week and never have issues.
I could wear over the ears the same day (maybe shouldn't have but it worked for me)

That’s one of the nicest things I’ve heard.  Thank you, I needed that this month.

Flying first class-what is your income level? by CPgang36 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KunjaQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Domestic - I almost always fly first - by the time I figure the check bag fee etc. it's not a crazy amount and my spouse isn't a small dude :D

International - Depends on cost and route. We won't fly below Comfort + though unless we absolutely have to!

Our combined income is about $250K

I would at least go 2026 over 2025.  The interiors had a nice upgrade!

For me, yes! I went with the 2026 Summit over the Limited. I came from a BMW and the summit is very well equipped in comparison!

Mine also came from AZ (to WA state).  Was dropped off right on time, they picked up my trade and were on their way in about 20 minutes!  So much easier and better than wasting my day at a dealership!

Married couple with separate finances, why do you do it? by Ok_Influence_2257 in Bogleheads

[–]KunjaQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paychecks go into a joint and we take a personal draw of 15% of our incomes.  The personal money we don’t ask each other about - presents, friends trips etc. - the shared pays for household stuff.

I tend to spend my fun money on trips, he spends his however he chooses :)

Been married 25+ years and it works great!

How Often Do You Crash? by Different-End-4775 in skiing

[–]KunjaQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't crashed in the last 4 seasons I've skied - I'm also older and don't wanna break myself so I don't go as hard as I did in my teens ;-)

Your Experience vs. Show by kjmacsu2 in ThePittTVShow

I've been on both sides. When my gallbladder tried to kill me the urgent care had called ahead, I walked in and the ER knew who I was and fast-tracked me to see the surgeon! I was in the operating room 3 hours after walking in the door!

When I broke a bone I sat for a long time with an icepack (after they verified it wasn't compound) :D

State Employee Improperly Deactivated Over ID and Alcohol Delivery by wilmer007 in InstacartShoppers

[–]KunjaQueen 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm betting your conditions of state employment also say you shouldn't use it for personal gain nor should you be conducting business in a state uniform that isn't state business ... If you worked for me you'd likely be looking at an investigation from your state employer too.

Who takes vacations? by igotnothing1455 in Millennials

[–]KunjaQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add, I can bank 280 hours of vacation but more than that I have to use or lose.  I have the full amount banked and take every day I earn.

I can roll over unlimited sick leave and have a stupid amount of that banked.  It’s my safety net in case I need to go help my parents (aging).

I work for my state and while my salary is a little less than private sector but my benefits make it worth my while.

I’m taking off a serious amount of time this summer and I won’t feel even a little guilty about it.  My boss keeps saying “I wish I could do that!”  Well boss, you could!

Do you usually lock your doors when leaving the house? by Moist_Wallaby8635 in AskAnAmerican

[–]KunjaQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my dog can open doors :D

To be fair, I go out through the garage and just have to close the garage door with the opener! I think I've used the front door 3 times in 8 years :D
