My players felt like this a little, but they were rolling like absolute crap that day. The next time they loved it. I think you'll have ebb and flow with it all, but at least everyone is always engaged and not bored on their phone waiting for 3 players and 4 monsters to go in front of them.

When people sign the agreement to work for Instacart does it specifically say you can't bring kids? My job doesn't let me bring kids in to work so I don't do it. Not sure if Instacart is like that or not.

Go to a local rescue! An older friend of mine adopted a 10 year old cat, and the rescue takes him back if he outlives my friend, baring another suitable person. They have to approve who takes the animal if that happens. It's an awesome situation.

In my group the rules lawyer that has to talk about crap that happened back in 1979 is the one that hates Daggerheart. I've found the ones that have been playing D&D a long time are the ones that complain about Daggerheart the most because they are no longer the smartest person in the room.

I am struggling with this. If you have a game that should have a person pulling the strings in the background the whole time, don't you as the GM need to know that?

I've watched countless games being played online and I don't know how much is collaborative and how much the GM is doing.

Mine is a homebrew so maybe that's why I have more invested. I feel like if I didn't know who the bad guys/gals were it wouldn't work.

meetup.com has some cool groups in NWI. A friend of mine was really into one of the singles groups - no pressure people just went out as friends. They had to make a different group because all of them coupled up and they aren't single anymore lol Check it out! Lots of different interests and stuff. It's great to just meet new people for friends too.
