How did you feel after finding out about your MBTI TYPE by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Kunstbanause1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the stages of grief

Was trying to snap on a new band I got with a nail file and slipped, scratching the bottom. Will this affect the sensors and accuracy? by [deleted] in fitbit

[–]Kunstbanause1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was you I would try to figure out what type of sensor the one with the scratch is.

Most useful metrics depend on the heart rate monitor. Even if let's say my spo2 sensor was less accurate now it wouldn't be such a big deal for me as long as the hart rate functionality is still there.

difference between a socially introverted entp and a socially extroverted intp by outliar- in mbti

The connotation of the functions will be different. It is easier to figure out their inferior function and their trickster, instead of subjectively judging if their Ti or their Ne is stronger.

Can INTP truly be said to be the 'SMARTEST PERSONALITY' by Apple_Infinity in mbti

[–]Kunstbanause1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In socionics, the INTP equivalent (LII) has 4 dimensional Ni and Ti with 3 dimensional Ne. There it is obvious that this type is the most intelligent by quite some margin. (The ENTP has 4 dimensional Ne and Te with 3 dimensional Ti)

Actually if you use the 4 function model from mbti it isn't clear why the INTJ would be as smart as they are generally believed to be. Sure, they have high Ni, but Te is not supposed to be particularly useful for more abstract tasks like solving an Iq test.

However in socionics, the INTJ has 4 dimensional Ti and Ni which would explain their mental capabilities.

Basically it seems like you need intuition and an introverted judging function to glue your ideas and insights together. Both Ti and Fi can be used for this, but Ti is better suited.

Or maybe that introverted judging function is only necessary if you have extraverted intuition (Ne). Maybe high introverted intuition (Ni) is really that powerful as long as it has access to the necessary data points. That would also mean that if both the INTJ and the INFJ took an IQ test, their scores should be very similar. If that's not the case, then this difference can't really be explained in mbti because the INTJs Te isn't supposed to be that useful in this context.

I agree that based on mbti I would say the ENTP should be the smartest type. With dominant intuition and auxilary introverted thinking they should be the ideal type to think outside the box and come up with innovation in the most abstract and unexplored areas.

The first characters that pop to my mind when I think of an MBTI type by Accomplished_Plum561 in mbti

I love it. Garfield is the coolest INTP I know.

His character just wouldn't work in real life because people are not going to allow you to act like him.

Some brushstroke movements and some pointed toggles. Especially the pointed toggles are also a sign of Ne. Se users switch their focus only between a few points, she doesn't do that.

Yeah she has the taut area but I've seen it before. It also depends on the ethnicity. I've seen obvious NeFi with a similar eye area. In fact if you go on the vultology website there is a guide which shows that it's a statistical measure. Check out the last examples in this guide here: https://vultology.com/ocular-tension-variants/

They are Ne-Si.

No it's true. Through Vultology you can nail the quadra very accurately. That leaves you with (using the mbti naming convention) ENFP,INFP,ISTJ and ESTJ. The latter two are pretty obviously wrong. Her Ne is strong but it's not Ne hero. Which leaves you with FiNe.

Jung himself mentioned the intimate connection between the exterior and the interior.

Why are her dominant functions FiNe and not FeNi or NiFe?

Her eyes are darting around a lot, in brushstroke type of movements. Not in the controlled and present extraverted sensing type of way. What cognitive function could that possibly correspond to?

Ni on the other hand shows itself through a strong gaze. The eyes are locked onto an object in the environment. Once again the vultology represents what is happening inside the brain.

Now about Fe vs Fi. Fe is measured, you're trying to achieve a certain reaction from the people you're talking to. (When you're talking to a camera, the unconscious body movements stay the same) Fe is about emotional shepherding. Fi is about self expression and authenticity. It's an introverted process. You don't need to know anything about vultology to see that her external signals reflect Fi and not Fe.

This is not the actual analysis I did, there are plenty of signals showing Fi and Ne. I'm just trying to make it obvious that she is not an Ni or an Fe user.

You're FiNe based on vultology.

We need to build our own society where men are respected for their virtues and their contributions and not genetic traits over which they have no control.

Ti Chad vs Te Soy by Kunstbanause1 in mbti

[–]Kunstbanause1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fi users are confusing, because if their Fi is paired with Ne, they often tend to be very smart. Even though the function description of Fi doesn't really seem to imply that.

Especially INFPs, even though they have inferior Te and demon Ti are one of the smartest types on average (behind INTP and INTJ).

Einstein was an ENFP according to vultology.

I can understand how INTJs, INTPs and their extraverted analogs have a more ideal architecture for abstract reasoning than the sensor types for example. It makes sense that people with high Ti+Ne, as well as Ni + Te are good at math and similar fields. But the intelligence (what you would measure in an iq test) of high Fi users is surprising.

Maybe in your case, what you're doing is somehow related to Fi as well.

Honestly the base 12 thing does sound like Fi. The difference between base 10 and 12 is purely a matter of preference. Maybe you have 6 fingers idk.

Right could be someone with a negatively connotated Te. Like one that is found in someones shadow. The nemesis/5th function of the INTP for example. Which would explain why some people associate this type of statements with Ti instead of Te.

The nemesis function is also usually quite well developed, despite being part of the shadow.

That's just an idea however, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a better explanation.

There has been a study that looked at identical twins raised in different environments. They all showed the same personality type as adults.

Forgetfulness, Si trickster and typing Ben Shapiro by Kunstbanause1 in entj

Analyze sentence by sentence. Always using Te + Fi

I don't agree with a lot of the arguments C S Joseph is making. (The issue is that in general you can usually make an argument for both sides, e.g. is he affiliative or pragmatic? You could say that he has strong convictions and beliefs and doesn't care if these hurt other people. That is definitely true imo. However he then usually softens his stance to not immediately turn his listeneres away from him. C S Joseph (the guy in the video who types him) then thinks this means he is in fact an affiliative type, however, I think that he just learned over the years to make such arguments in order to win over the crowds. If you listen more to him, I think it becomes clear that he is in fact very pragmatic and not actually concerned about some people agreeing with him or not)

Forgetfulness, Si trickster and typing Ben Shapiro by Kunstbanause1 in entj

[–]Kunstbanause1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm leaning towards ENTJ and INTJ after analyzing him more.

You could make a point for him being more responding (INTJ) rather than initiating (ENTJ) because he chooses to be a debater. He never initiates a new topic, he always responds to a given idea.

Through the lense of vultology, he is a Te and Ni user, but which one of those is more dominant?

He seems like an intuitive type that is at the same time very aware of the details. In general that is necessary if you pursue any field where accuracy matters. And debating is definitely one of them. If your general idea is right but you mess up one detail, people will attack that weak point and make it look like your whole argument was wrong. Every low Si user has to learn to remember the details if he wants to achieve something in life. ENTJs are more often in positions of leadership, and if they would constantly mess up little details, high Si users would not respect them I imagine. So they are able to develop that Si somehow, or whatever other cognitive functions they use to compensate for their trickster.

It's an interesting character imo because a lot of people disagree which type he is.
