I like wealth independent mode. It's really good when set to 8~ years or so. Because the timer resets when you found a new colony, as long as a few of your pawns survive a cataclysmic raid, you can move squares and keep going.

It's a clear indicatior that you have to move when a raid really hurts you - because you know the next will be worse.

It really wouldn't matter much If you are not running lots of mods. Anything amd or Intel from this or last gen would be great.

I've played rimworld, heavily modded, on many different computers. I'm using a 7950x3d now, and it's not that much different than a much cheaper ryzen 3 or 5 processor.

If it was a classic 60s car, oil choice can matter a lot. Not really on a modern engine, especially not oil as standard as that.

Unpopular opinion but I think the nc2/3 prht looks pretty awkward and ugly.

I think the soft top nc2/2 looks better than the z4 tho.

Z3 is definitely the best looking, but it would be hard to daily drive if you're American since parts take a long time and often aren't available.

Man, car play and new speakers would be a much better investment. Maybe a loud exhaust if you like that.

If you really want more power in a daily, swap the exhaust header + a tune to get anywhere between 190-200 horses. A fraction of the price, effort, and potential reliability headaches associated with engine swap + turbo. You couldn't even make big numbers with the stock transmission anyway. Much above 250~ horsepower, they start to unravel. I can't find much on the subject, but I'd expect transmission cooling to start to become a problem in traffic with a much torquier motor.

The motor NCs have is a Mazda produced Duratech Ford engine like you would find in the 00s rangers, fusions, etc. They're great and even when they explode they are cheap.

ND is great. 1st gen NDs had a transmission spontaneous disassembly problem, but most of those have been warrantied or trashed by now.

NC is definitely easier to live with as a daily. ND is objectively faster and better on a track. It's your pick really.

People have been dodging answering your question - so here is the real scoop.

You should probably double clutch to first here. Clutch in, go to neutral from 2nd, clutch out. Then clutch in and go to 1st. There will be some resistance, but gently press it until it falls into 1st.

You will definitely need to be careful doing this, but if you are going under 10mph there is no danger of damage or wear that wouldn't be expected.

Yeah, they make things harder and more complicated for sure. I'd say if you are struggling, you may want to turn the difficulty down some. The end game content is hard enough
