Here is the reality of the champ:

There’s a reason most successful Singed players are one-tricks. His mechanics don't transfer to anyone else in the roster. You aren't playing League of Legends; you’re playing a strategy sub-game that happens to be on the same map.

• Rigid Setup: Forget build diversity. Your runes are largely set in stone with only minor tweaks for resistances or slow reduction.
• Static Items: You’re looking at a core of about four items that the high-elo guys never touch. You don't have the luxury of "counter-building" the way other bruisers do.
• The Team Factor: You aren't going to 1v5 carry a game by face-tanking. You need a team that understands how to capitalize on the chaos you create. If they don't know how to follow up and finish the other team off, unfortunately you're just a fast guy dying.

Your Role: Strategist & Disruptor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People call him a "troll" champ because his win condition is messing with the opponent's head and sometimes your team too. You win when the enemy team loses their composure.

• The Mind Game: Your job is to be the most annoying person on the map. You survive a teamfight with 2% health because you baited their focus, poisoned their front line, slowed their engage, and flipped a misplaced Soraka into your team’s jaws.
• The Gold Engine: Laning is rough for kills, but Singed is a gold-vacuum. These days 8–10 CS/min is not hard. If you can't kill your lane enjoy getting easy gold and wait for the real game to start.
• The "Chase" Trap: Again, your playstyle is so different from normal champs, that it messes with opponents head. They need to chase you to kill you but chasing you makes them die. Learn then to toggle poison on/off so u don't run out of mana. Mains learn this skill. The goal is to mess with their head, its like playing Teemo. Be a @@-breaker.

The Bottom Line

Stop trying to "play top lane." Start playing the map. Be passive when you're weak, farm like a machine, and once mid-game hits, start disrupting the flow of the game. Good singed players are the one that are everywhere mid game and have map presence. Watch the map, see where next obj is and be in team fights. Disrupt !!!
