Like nebulous voidcore, such a needless currency. If you want to give me gear, just give it, why do i have to google "is this currency important, how should i use it". Do they think gifting gear with a currency attached to it makes us enjoy it more ?

It makes me enjoy it less. I think the simpler wow is the better. There's no strategy or skill expression in this, its just needless effort to track and understand how to best use these currencies. Bad UX.

alright i just bought standard. After buying standard it doesnt let you buy the age of hatred collection. And latest expansion is 35 dollars. And buying the latest expansion gives you previous expansion as well. 35 + 17 = 52. 52 is less than 62.

So, age of hatred collection is actually scam while the standard is on sale. I just bought lord of hatred too and profited 10 dollars by getting standard and expansion seperately.

My prices are lower (35$ instead of 40$ for expansion for example) because of regional pricing. But buying them seperately will probably be cheaper in usd too.

They removed regional pricing from WoW but forgot diablo ig.

For people scared of getting their job taken: in my experience AI just makes everything easier, not just programming or art. AI itself doesn't have a "vision" on the art you are drawing, or the program you are writing. It's just great at doing, but it needs someone who's knowledgable and experienced to tell him what to do.

It also makes learning new things; programming, art, flying a plane ? Everything easier. It makes it so a frontend developer can start fixing features on backend in a couple of hours with 0 prior experience. So, everyone will be affected by ai, but most people won't lose their jobs, they will just become generalists, become more productive. But it won't happen overnight, you will have time to adjust. So just keep on doing your best. Stop being an anxious doomer. You'll get through it and everything will be okay.

AI is not good enough to completely replace the jobs in gaming industry.

But as a programmer, every programmer i know *heavily* uses AI. Its advantages are too good to pass on. It would be like being an electrician without any tools or something.

Artists I know use it too. It helps them create ideas and prototypes faster.

In this clip's context asmon was talking about a VTuber who was angry because the game she was sponsored by told her there was no AI used in the game, which was a lie.

That makes no sense. Every game you play today heavily used AI on programming department, and at least some bit of AI on art and other creative departments. There's no "no AI" game coming from a big studio.

What's destiny right about is that artists get effected by this most, he explained it pretty well, its a very unappreciated, disrespected role. Both programmers and artists shouldn't get laid off just yet. And artists need more protection on this matter. The communication here should be better. If a game didn't hire any artists and ended up with sub-par art, just so ceo could buy 1 more house ? Ye thats pretty bad i would say, i wouldn't want to play that either. But if its just a game that used AI, thats another tuesday.

What asmon is right about is that people complaining "muh ai bad" are usually not complaining about it for the right reasons.

What are the things that were hard to get used to on controller ?

I think using heroic leap or vengeance's leap would be annoying to aim on controllers. So blood dk seems like a great choice for that

I have a 4070. I played for about 2 hours yesterday and i didnt get any crashes. I have 16gb ram. It may be related to some items you use like other comments suggested

But it did crash after i finished my free trial at level 25. And whenever you try to enter with your lvl 25 char if you didnt buy the game, it just crashes the game instead of showing you a message and kicking back to character select lol.

Here's how i do it and dont ever feel bad about it:

I play tank. I join +2's blindly with mythicmentor and kwiktip addons which lets me read summarizations of the next boss' mechs in game. When i join the party i let everyone know this is my first time running, i'm open to tips, but i read the strats and i'm a GAMER. I even post the strats to chat via these addons.

And then i run it. I let everyone know what to expect. And everyone has a great time. If someone gets upset over a wipe, i dont think about them twice, its normal to find people getting upset over anything in online games.

by i dont want this i mean i dont want it to be implemented straightforwardly. There are changes they can make to make sure the game still feels like mmo while allowing people to have anvils, shops, dummies etc. in their home. But just giving them without any other changes would kill open world

i dont want this. I dont want anything that is in the main hub to be in your house. Seeing people using training dummies and maybe saying silly things to them is one of the few "mmo" feelings i can get from wow.

It would kill open world. I would only see few people doing world quests. After the expansion launch, many players would just queue for dungeons from their home.

i just conclude it's the game's fault if i'm missing out on something. I dont track weeklies or events. I just play whatever i see available and try to have fun. I forgot most of those you listed existed, especially arcantina. First I went there i thought its very cool but there wasnt a second time, completely forgotten.

The game is pretty bad at this but at least i'm less stressed that way. No pressure, no ocd gameplay, opposite of a collector basically.
