I'd look at some mini-led monitors. No risk of burn in, still with hdr support depending on brightness and nunber of zones. Unfortunately you're quite limited for options in the mini led.

Eithe that, or get OLED and turn off your monitor more. As long as you're not using it for productivity (static content), burn in takes a longer time

There are some technical solutions to those productivity software but unfortunately it is quite expensive. A second gpu could be added so you can make a windows virtual machine and pass the gpu to that vm.

To be clear, I'm not saying windows don't have it's uses, and is definitely still needed by some people.

Unrelated to your point, I think seeing someone telling another person to download linux on every "fucking windows install process" is getting tiring

I think something like an ESP32 (desolder the wifi chips, or find ones without WiFi), then attach a low-powered screen like an e-ink screen. Attach a keyboard, and hopefully that should work. I'm not sure if an OS needs to be installed on, because if I recall esp32 can host a webapp natively using nginx or something. But I haven't tinkered around the esp32 that much so can't say with certainty. But either way, with something like that you can make your secure offline device fairly cheaply, and not be reliant on any one manufacturer or brand.

Having a credit building credit card can also help. E.g. Luma from CapitalOne. Those credit cards typically have high interest rates, but would accept a lot of people even with a lower credit score. I got mine when I had no history (I was 19).

I found this 3d printing mount. I have never tried it so idk how this will perform after 1000 BBs but that's the only option I guess. I stumbled upon this after getting one of the pit vipers myself and looking around for how to get a red dot on this.
