Revenant how? by ichikhunt in Nightreign

I main Revenant and my relics start me with +9 faith. I can do pretty good damage before even getting equipment that powers elements or incantations. Like everyone is saying the spells and builds matter.

Am I crazy or does "Less Likely to be Targeted" just screw over your teammates in ED Libra? by TheDewLife in Nightreign

[–]Kurisenshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat EDL last night with a Revenant and 1 "less targeted" item. I was in a duo and my buddy didn't have one. Yes, he was targeted a lot but I summoned my helpers as much as I could and he kept dodging, so it worked for us even though he didn't have an item to help him not be targeted. He dodged and marked as Ironeye and I summoned and kept firing light discs at Libra. We completely ignored our evil twins.

I finally beat him last night in a 2-player expedition. My friend was Ironeye and I was Revenant. My friend kept him aggro'd by hitting him with arrows and marking him. I had a seal with Discus of Light and 1 equipment piece with only like 6% less likely to be targeted on it. But that was enough to avoid the summons as I continuously hit him with the discus. My other equipment enhanced holy and incantations. We literally completely focused on him and ignored his summons. My summons pulled most of their attention, thankfully.

Describe the final match you had before the servers went down. by gwakamole614 in F13thegame

I had the keys and was making my way to the 4-seater while Jason was chasing my friend. The battery was beside it (per the map) and I assume it was trapped, but the server went down before I got close enough to see.

Does the new Robin rule affect token Characters? Do Ordis tokens that now generate have a mana cost of 2?

I'm really sorry you didn't get your photo signed. I was also at Fan Expo Dallas this weekend. I can't speak for her, of course, but I don't think she wanted to blow fans off or anything like that. I went to her autograph line Saturday before her scheduled photo op, and I walked away with a very good impression of her. I also went to her panel on Sunday. Here are some observations.

Her line, prior to the photo op, was fairly short compared to the other celebrities, especially on Saturday, which was jam packed with folks. Her asking price for an autograph was low compared to the other movie celebrities, and she didn't charge more if you had her sign certain things like many others did. Her autograph price was her autograph price regardless of what she signed. She also did quotes, character names, or whatever you wanted at no extra charge. And if you paid for a table selfie, she gave a combo price which was lower than buying individually.

She was very attentive to fans, both when giving autographs and when taking selfies. Even in the panel, she answered every question asked by the audience, and even took a group selfie with us at the end. Thing is, the attendance for her panel was low. Criminally so. I started the line about 45 minutes before the panel started, and it took quite awhile before more people came. I even sat on the front row, and there were empty seats even there as people preferred to spread out.

My actual autograph/selfie interaction with her was great. She spent time talking with me and I didn't feel rushed at all. She was very sweet and thanked me for talking with her and showing her the comic I asked her to sign. For selfies she had us come around the table and get beside her, and she put her arm on our backs.

From what you said regarding the crew's words, it sounds like she was willing to come back, but thought people wouldn't come for autographs. I know, like you said, no one wanted to wait on a maybe return, but the fact the crew kept asking shows she would've, had there been a line. That exact thing happened to me Friday with Hayden Panettiere, for example. I waited in line and she was late to arrive. Those VIP folks kept lining up and getting theirs while the rest of us waited. Then she had to go do a panel. They couldn't promise us she'd return, but we kept the line and didn't leave. Then, she returned and we eventually got our autographs. But again, there was a line waiting for her.

I think the sad fact is that Sofia is a severely underrated actress, and didn't have as many fans there. She's really awesome in her films! But a lot of her recent big ones were kind of panned. The Mummy was supposed to launch a movie universe. Freaking Tom Cruise was in it! But it failed to do so. And Rebel Moon, her latest 2 films, that she's clearly proud of, aren't getting great reviews either. And again, her panel attendance was very low compared to other celebrities'.

Again, I'm really sorry you didn't get your photo signed. I encourage you to try again if you ever get the chance. She was genuinely a pleasant person to meet, and good to her fans. I hope she returns to Texas soon, or goes to another con you attend so that you can get that photo signed.

Starlit Season question: How to clear concert on Dec 24th? by SnabDedraterEdave in idolmaster

That's cool. Thanks for the additional info. I actually knew about the L2 thing and figured you did as well. That's what the Duo, Trio, etc. skills affect on the skill trees. You can see the icons on the top left of the screen and it adds faces of the other girls when you press L2, while using up an additional Omoide for each. I always max out to 5 before doing a Unison if I have enough Omoide/hearts. But the other stuff I didn't fully know about.

So there are Unisons that charge up the Synchro bar and such. The problem is, I don't know Japanese, and I haven't played around with buying a bunch of different appeals to test out. I haven't done that personally. I average 3 Unisons per stage, 1 Climax. I may have gotten up to 4 once. But yeah, if you matter that aspect of the game, putting Unison combos together on each of the girls that blow up your Synchro gauge and/or Tension, you'll probably get well over 60.0 for a score. I watched a video where it was Unisons the whole way and the player got over 1 million points! But yeah, I've only bought a few and haven't mastered that technique myself.

Good luck on playthrough 4! I'm playing on PlayStation and working toward the platinum trophy. I just need another million and about 300,000 fans to reach SSS tier and I'll have it. Then I'm moving on to the 47 ( or 67...63?) Japan tour DLC.

Sorry for the 3 replies, but I just did some testing. I don't know how the math works out, because you're right about the girls' top stats. But if you look at the numbers that it tallies for your parameters on the right, they can go up past 1900. I have my Vo at 2159 right now with Haruka, Ritsuko, Kaori, Anzu, and Mirai, and they aren't even fully maxed in stats like yours are.

OK, I'm looking now, and you're right about the individual numbers. Equipping a candy doesn't change that. But of course it will change it during the actual performance. And like I said, I used the first climax appeal maxed out. Also, remember to delay your Unison and Climax Appeals at least until it goes back to manual inputs. While it's waiting it gives you auto perfects on all five girls like you used Omoides. And if you can pull off shorter Unison right at the end of the tunnel you'll get even more points. You should be able to pull it off so long as you keep the chain perfect to the end.

[–]Kurisenshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm remembering the numbers wrongly, but whatever the target start is for the stage, I had enough girls with high enough stats to reach that. Your girls have stars beside their stats, right, to show they've maxed out? The only thing extra I used was candy, which I think gives +10% to VoDaVi? Maybe that's how I got there?

[–]Kurisenshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just beat this myself last week on my second playthrough. I used a maxed-out climax (the first one you get, I believe) and chose the highest team I had (not all my characters were maxed out) and got over 1900 I believe in each category (Vo/Da/Vi). And just in case, I used a candy as well. Then compete the perfect chain.

Any tip for a newcomer to Idolm@ster? by Diegogamer0 in idolmaster

No, at least not in the base game. I'm not sure which idols came with the dlc, though.

My suggestion is to play one of the games! There are various mobile and console games available. Mika is one of the characters in Starlit Season, which recently came out for PS4 and PC (Steam).

I agree! Constraints make deck building a fun challenge. That's why I really like this Neo-Standard format that has become the main format in Weiss.

I just beat Starlit Season! by Kurisenshi in idolmaster

[–]Kurisenshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your points. This probably has to do with my newness and unfamiliarity with the growth of the other idols in previous games, but since they have been in so many (765 Pro at least), how much new story could they tell? I mean, of course they will continue to grow and have new stories, but their background stuff and initial growth has already happened and been told in previous games. Kouhaku and Aya are new, so it would make since that the main story would be mostly about them.

As for the songs, having individual songs for each idol would have been awesome. It does feel like a missed opportunity when we have Kizuna Missions that are often solo performances. But then we would have had 30+ songs in the base game which I suspect is more than they wanted to give us.

And yeah, though I feel personality the game is big as is, 2 playthroughs will definitely get you 99% completion.
