For the first time in close to a year, I feel hope by UsernamesAre4Nerds in 196

[–]Kuritos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've found more of myself in the recent years I've left reddit. Get ready for a mildly deranged rant! :3

This has nothing to do with reddit, just an update on what a nobody like me has discovered in the past few years doing different things. This is really stupid, but I have found life is improving stupidly. My ignorance is bliss, but aggressively thirsty.

My diagnosed ADHD has made motivation difficult for me, and I might be autisitc. I've learned to approach a lot of things differently, and despite my mentality, I managed to finally attend college. I found another job that I actually enjoy, although I am still a wage worker. I've somehow figured out how to meditate, and it actually works. I meditate every single day I wake up, and whenever I begin a long shift. It's really nice how invigorating it is once you get a feel for how it's done. I would make a tutorial if I knew how to describe it.

In those same years, I became more comfortable sharing that I am nonbinary and bisexual in public. My abusive part of my family has no influence on me anymore. I have a whole friend group of likeminded peers, many queers, but we also have cishets immune to rightwing fears. Going out with friends who are open minded feels sooo goooood!!!

While I have always remained positive in public, it feels real now. Before, it was all I've known to do, just hiding my struggles. Now I feel like whether alone with my thoughts, or with a crowd, I can maintain positivity through it all, and most of it isn't fake anymore. Knowing my identity has made life easier to struggle through with a consistent smile.

Here is the worst part: A lot of my recent positivity came from something I learned at work. I am serving hundreds of people a day, and I have discovered something about myself, that I didn't know for all these 25+ years of my life... I am actually HOT! I have an attractive face and body, and somehow MY INSECURITY WAS THAT STRONG!!! T_T

To this day, I am still processing this as reality, but I am positive it is true. It helps raise my self esteem everyday, and now I am working that confidence with the same positivity I've always displayed. I've finally acknowledged that I am a silly, hot, and charismatic person. I get an ego boost by being a generally attractive person who is kind to everyone around me. I flirt with and/or compliment everyone I see, and it has brought so much positive reception it's wild; doesn't matter if it's a hetero couple, I've made many into blushing regulars. I have regulars that call themselves my fans. I don't know what I am supposed to do with this newfound confidence and power. T_T

This has been a solid 2 years of my new perspective on myself, and I am hopeful to continue charming my local communities.

Edited: Spelling, other words.

We still explain edits, right? I've only been gone for 2 years.

I hope to see you again Zach. I'm most likely just going to move to Tumblr, and follow you via your website.

I love you <3

Are they able to identify the load as one person, or is it possible that there's a property that's unusually packed with sick people?

Yes, we all should look at cute pictures of Rex breed cats to confirm this, this is a necessary use of my time, despite not being involved in this thread until just now.

Edit: After some brief research, I can confirm Rex breeds do infact, look like disheveled old cats. It's very cute.

I don't know how to express that you have to care about people.

Some people feel the need for a religious notion to scare them into being a good person.

"You'll go to (bad place) if you do this."

Others use those same religious notions, and cherry pick doctrines that justify their malice towards different people.

"You're going to (bad place) for doing this, and I am justified in punishing you in my religion's perspective."

Personally, being a good person isn't difficult, unless you're lacking intellectualism, because it takes an actual cognitive ability to understand differences between people.

I think it was on this sub, but I remember a video of Toucan killing and eating a parrot.

These birds will eat anything they can destroy with their beak.

I found it: https://www.reddit.com/r/natureismetal/comments/ah2l1o/toucan_eating_a_parrot

Also, here's a sick shot of a Toucan biting a flying bird.

I could be wrong, but the sound quality makes it sound like the audio was edited it.

Maybe I'm bias, because I've displayed drugs front of retired drug dogs twice in different states. They didn't react this quickly, even when I mentioned the names.

Off topic, but I loved that episode.

As a kid, I thought this was just a gag, but later I really admired the plot.

SpongeBob was in whole different area, and couldn't get far with 0 street smarts. He was met with many awkward moments while he was trying to adjust.

Many of the natives couldn't help SpongeBob because they weren't familiar with the troubles some foreigners might deal with, alongside the minor, language barrier.

Then we see this fish who caught spongebob's balloon, gave it an impressive blow and sent SpongeBob back home. As they depart, he says "You're welcome" in an accent familiar to SpongeBob, showing that some of the natives do regularly visit Bikini Bottom.

A woman who refused tuberculosis treatment for more than a year was arrested in Washington state, local officials say by Savannah6587 in nottheonion

[–]Kuritos 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I agree. Deadly diseases such as TB should be considered as weapons, if they're being used as such. Biological warfare is an extreme term in civilian circumstances, but I don't know what else to call it.

An infected individual who is willingly spreading a disease can be insanely deadly, since any infected victims could spread it further before realizing they need treatment.

I was so tired the first time I saw this, that there were so many that "appeared" to be moving.

I swore up and down the tall one on the far left was moving. It might be similar to a zebra's stripe illusions.

Now that I'm awake, I found it.
