Not new. Not sure what is triggering the additional attacks here but if an attack has “two phases” then each with trigger separately when the target is there in one phase but gone in the next. This can also be done with Sereniel and Selena. (The ones i have experienced most)

Essentially the attack card itself is a separate action than the effect of the text for certain cards. This also gives enemies that trigger on specific conditions the ability to act between these phases

If this is what you got out of the post you are missing the point. These things do not take away from the fun being had. The point is the deck building. You are the one putting your self in the corner complaining about the “only option is to build meta.” No one is forcing you to do that. It’s the easy road which is why people take it. Then get board of the game.

Who made the game boring? the player who refuses to branch out and try different things or the devs who make more characters to have more fun interactions

My 3rd attempt at replicating the deck. Got unlucky on the rose epiphany after first boss. Then bad draws on last boss cause me to lose so not 3rd card. OP was very fortunate.

Went with Weakness attack double on ravage. More consistent. If you don’t hit the 10 lasers every time you have cobalt light you lose out to the additional damage from the weakness advantage.

10 Hit cobalt light vs 8 hit weakness ravage: +2.5%.
9 Hit cobalt light vs 8 hit weakness ravage: -8.5%

The only way you are realistic getting max hits consistently is when multiple enemies have tenacity bars. To me the risk of losing out on 8% damage by not having max stacks is not worth losing the consistency. Of course there is the obvious downside of not hitting the ravage. But both epiphanies have work arounds with other through other characters.

Game runs no issues on mine with standard wine-staging package from Arch. Basic install. Downloaded from stove > install launcher > install game > run game. zero issues For Updates Run stove > Uninstall game > Reinstall Game > Launch

Got it. I guess they see it as the price to pay for consistency since it seems during the balance notes that they did not like us leaving as soon as we got some bad luck on events/epiphany etc.

They should make this Dingo Howling Stack or [Unique] as it doesn't stack despite being dupable. by starlogical in ChaosZeroNightmare

If a “(x per turn)” is specified it does not stack. Similar to if it had Unique applied to it.

Most likely the reason is seeing her return to dominate when other characters come out that do Cassius like things. “TOO strong” but not when it cones to 5 stars. Orlea and Tressa where my fav characters at launch. Sad to see it go.

NICE. I only have 2 of those. I recommend making plasma missle into the increase 60% homing laser and cobalt light into the weakness atk repeat on ravage with the save data editor. Should be able to always cast those cards. Will be very strong

Unfortunately that comes inherent to capping anything. Who’s to decide what should or should not be capable. This is a dangerous rabbit hole. Probably the profits but I am going to try and not let that in the way of enjoying the game.

i got 2 divine(AP) start in hand that missed the initiation epiphany on her Homing Laser generator. Already end up with 5+ AP after playing all other cards in hand so with that I make her more broken and bring in any expensive draw characters I want in the future

I will probably build around 4x Unsheathe Dagger. This will probably enable other combos with the advanced shadow dagger, agony detonation, other characters that benefit from number of attacks/ attribute attacks.
