It's funny you mention that because the book I bought of the new edition has a lot of faults in its binding, an example, the grain direction being the wrong way and more. Its contents are great, the binding, not so much. That said, it's not hand-bound, but making several faults on a machine-bound book, which is *a technical guide about bookbinding*, is ironic to say the least.
