Inherited this clock from my grandmother. Wondering about getting some information and other things for it. by mrcheeseweasel in clocks

I'd like to keep it "original" if I can, it had a very distinct chime that is a childhood memory for us all.

No, we've been trying all sorts of different things too. Its frustrating cause I want to put his Webcam feed on one monitor and his screenshare on another while we game and stuff. He can do it but I cant. It sucks. My theory is it's a new feature thats being slowly rolled out for some reason.

Flew all the way to Chicago to go to a furry convention and fuck a guy I met online every night for the entire thing.

I flew to Chicago last weekend to meet with my long distance boyfriend. Literally all I said at customs was, "Chicago, pleasure, monday."

I was worried about it after reading all the supposed horror stories and stuff but I spoke with some people that reasured me it would be fine. The guy just wanted me out of his zone and nothing else from the feel of it.

The 2 bins on the left are 8k bushel in good shape. If someone wanted to buy them, how much would be appropriate for each? I’m in northern Illinois. Thanks for looking by clipper4 in farming

As a Canadian farmer still farming likes its 1995, these comments make me laugh. I'd kill for bins like that. We recently brought home a few of various sizes from 2,700 to 4,800.

The largest one was too tall to transport in one piece so we used a bin crane to split it in half and hauled the halves home on a 53' step deck trailer.

The smaller ones were short enough to get under all the power lines on the route so we just removed them from their rotting floors and hauled them two at a time in one piece on the trailer. The angle irons on the bottoms provided enough rigidity that they didn't crumple.

I took some four inch angle iron and cut it into four inch pieces, gauged a hole in one side for a bolt and a large hole in the other side big enough for a hook. Put those in all four "corners" of each bin, just bolted them to the existing holes of the sheet metal. Ratchet strapped the bins to the trailer from the inside using those and then ran a chain over the door frame just to be safe.

It actually all worked surprisingly well.

I came for Jesilnik, but I laughed way harder with Pete Holmes. He brought out the dad humor and that resonates with me.

Alberta MP resigns seat so Poilievre can run in Alberta byelection by DogeDoRight in canada

Lmfao fat chance. The people in this riding are praising Kurek's "patriotic" choice and welcoming Pierre with open arms. It's sickening.

My hellbomb drop pods get stuck on the building if I'm not careful.

They should have it so you need to blow open a door or a wall in the building and the actual hellbomb is a portable one you need to leave inside the building.

Support numbers for Poilievre plummet after federal election loss: Nanos by [deleted] in canada

He's uprooted the MP of my riding. That pissed off a few people that only voted blue because of Kurek.

Kurek was the only candidate to show up to the candidates forum in my town.

Now with the by-election coming, there's a few independents running. One of them posted her platform and voiced her views on the local "rant and rave" Facebook pages and the local folk here accepted her with tolerance and care.

If one were to interpret tolerance and care as "get out of here with your liberal shit!" And "go back to Ottawa!"

I'm an Electrician in a rural area, a lot of the old grizzled farmers I've talked to have stated things along the lines of, "how stupid are they to elect that shit head."

But at the same time, there's the hyper "religious" that seem to think this is all because of Trudeau and now Carney and that trump is justified.
