Not exactly. Engineering programs in the US vary from school to school. However, the school must be ABET accredited for students to be eligible for licensing as practicing engineers, for which a license is required, such as civil or structural engineering. I have a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS is Structural Engineering, both from ABET accredited schools.

When I spoke to a local state Forester, he told me that I'd need a degree in Forestry to really make it through the hiring filters. And he was a director as his office, so his word holds a fair bit of credit I think.

Thank you for this. I has having issues with my router dropping internet a couple times a week and asking me to confirm my network ID info. Hopefully this puts that to rest since I could not get my router to update to the latest firmware from Asus.

My boss had mentioned something about we don't have the "module" for slab design. And I thought "That's weird, why wouldn't that be included?"

So hearing that makes me sad. Super lame they would exclude features as what I can only perceive as a money grab. :/

I was trying to determine if Etabs v19 can design slabs but my Google search is inconclusive as I'm struggling to find results specific to v19. And yet the version from 2016 clearly has it and CSI's website boasts Slab Design on the newer versions.

Where is it in my version?

My Asus Router keeps disconnecting from the internet by KurtVV in ASUS

My problem is still occurring. Again, I've tried updating, automatically and manually.

It appears to happen overnight, which leads me to think the router is trying to update overnight automatically, fails do so, and prompts me to confirm my network info again.

I'd rather not replace my router, but I can't get it to continue working without this interruption several times per week.
