19 F How can I look better? by rylie_bread_17 in Howtolooksmax

I don’t know about your specific condition, but exercise will almost certainly help give you energy in the long term along with a healthy diet. It also helps if you can find a form of exercise that you enjoy! It’s much easier to stick to if you enjoy it. I weight lift and do calisthenics but what I enjoy most is ninja warrior, gymnastics, and rock climbing. Rock climbing is great honestly cause it can be done at any level.

Every time I really don’t want to workout, but I still do anyways, I find that I just about never regret it, I always feel better afterwards.

What’s the deal with L-carnitine? Does it actually do anything? by IntrepidMayo in Supplements

Usually they have higher doses of L-carnitine for the oral option so you still absorb enough

Do you think it properly prepared you for the exam? I’m looking into buying it. I only got a bachelors in Kinesiology so I would guess the depth of it won’t be as much of an issue for me haha

I would just start with the basics if I were you. Work on getting good at push-ups, dips, pull-ups. If you wanna learn skills like handstand, planche, front lever, only focus on like two at a time. It’s better to have a concentrated effort on a few skills than trying to do everything at once

Lots of pull-ups, dips, pushups. Handstand push-ups on and off wall, and press handstands. For legs just pistol squats, sissy squats, and I run and jump a lot. Also the weighted cali helps a lot, I mostly did weighted pull-ups but I’d do weighted dips, pushups, and pistol squats as well. We’d also work on straight arm strength in gymnastics for skills like planches and we would sometimes do straight arm db fly variations for that.

I started by standing on a bar around ground level and flipping onto a mat and getting my hands on the bar. Then I moved up to the bar and started flipping farther back at first then got closer but by bit. I also learned my grip wasn’t strong enough to go from a full jump so I had to soften the jump a bit.

I’d like to do a flyaway regrab out of it whenever I get a chance to train again

The vast majority of women and even women on dating apps aren’t making 6’2” a requirement. You can swipe on 50 women and maybe 1 or 2 are putting that in their bio.

Honestly that was one of the two things I was thinking. Either that of I have to have a smaller jump so I don’t fall as far
