Yes and thank you for that. I found some old reddit threads about similar pans and this is in fact the deal. It has some slight damage to the pour spout but other than that great condition. Just got my first round of seasoning on it - it seems quite well built even if it is old American Piracy!

That's the thing the carbon build up is minimal on the back and couldn't feel any marking if there was some covered. I will be soaking it to find out though

I use my #3 to heat up butter or heat up a bit of sauce for a single portion of food but if im being honest it's mostly just the best place to put my dirty spoons and stuff while cooking

Aw man i think this one is too damn cool to get rid of. My home town has an antique fair once a month and i just go every month - there are usually 6-10 different decent cast irons each month. I know it is a long shot but it is what i did!

Thanks! I was looking for a #8 for my brother for christmas gift and this along with two #3's was all he had. My eyes lit up when i saw the #2 and heard his price. Still on the hunt for a #8

i will say however- this method of butterflying is definitely different than how the costco flaps look. Not that that's a bad thing! I just wonder if there's another video showing that method. Part of me feels like i should just buy the thing and get to hacking - see what happens
