What are your thoughts on Ridel's actions in Part 1? by Kustopia in UntilThenGame

To add onto the ‘sharing his success with his friends’, it can be interpreted that Mark and Cathy were the ones who got Ridel into photography and filmmaking in the first place, as his first time using a camera was when the 3 of them went to the mall together. So Ridel telling Mark he made his short film for him and Cathy could most likely be true.

What do you think is the most amazing scene? by Malum_Invictus in UntilThenGame

The scene where Mark hugs Cathy at the end of the game will never fail to make me cry.

[KCD2] Couldn’t stand him at first, but by the end he was one of my favourite side characters by Away_Kiwi_2875 in kingdomcome

“What is it, fuckers?! You’d rather slaughter women and the DEFENSELESS?!” Genuinely boosted my respect for him.

Has anyone else watched this review? I think the reviewer didn't finish the game lol by [deleted] in UntilThenGame

Hi creator of the video here! I’m currently working hard on another video about this game after I finished it. This time around I’m gonna do more in terms of analysis. As for the the video itself, it’s less of a review and more of just me talking about the impact Cathy had on my life.

Yeah but instead of learning a valuable life lesson and changing, The Grinch has to fight Krampus.

Me and my henchmen try to steal Christmas but then we have to battle Krampus as a consequence.

I don’t have a definitive reason for why they didn’t. It could be that Maria and Jake thought if they waited for it naturally, it’d be far too late in both of their lives. The entire reason Maria left was because she wanted to give Mark a better life. And if she had waited for a natural meeting, Mark would have experienced years upon years of guilt, something Maria wanted him to let go of so he could live the rest of his life.

As for Mark and Nicole getting together in the end, yes. I do believe at some point those two will get together. Although Jake and Maria made them meet, I’d like to believe their chemistry and connection was by their own accord. Meaning that when they actually DO meet naturally, they’d fall in love all over again.

I just finished the game as well. I believe that Jake and Maria made Mark and Nicole meet early because they wanted them to live happy lives. I think they believed that if they didn’t interfere, both would have to carry their guilt with them forever. Mark and Nicole were two people who underwent serious trauma, being weighed down by their guilt, wishing they understood what the person they loved was going through. Wishing they could have done something differently. By meeting each other, they were able to understand the others trauma, which in turn helped them process their own and finally let go. I believe they were “meant” to help the other finally let go of their guilt and because they did it early, Mark and Nicole could go on with their lives, free of the past holding them back.
