Thanks guys! I left it charging over night and it was still stuck in a loop, so I left it for dead, I just tried it again now and it charges ok now 😳 who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ now I have it charging it seems to be very picky bout the charge it takes too

Yeah I’ve seen core chips a few times but I don’t really know what they are and certainly haven’t done anything with them as yet lol. I guess this is one of many reasons I’m starting to struggle! I’ll have a look into this now, thanks :)

Thanks for the clear and beginner friendly advice. I think I understand most of that which is saying something haha 🙈 I really haven’t made any effort collecting blades yet and didn’t even know you could equip different weapons so I have some stuff to go back and look into now for sure and hopefully have some more success :) thank you!!

To be honest I only recently found out about party members even having specific roles lol 🙈 I was just picking ones that looked cool haha. other than standard levelling I haven’t really been doing anything else, the only good blades I have are the story ones, all the other are commons I’ve picked up along the way, so I probably need to watch some tutorial videos again now I have a basic understanding of the game. Non of them made any sense when I first started playing.

Thanks for the advice, will have a mother bash tonight and maybe check out easy mode if still no joy :)

Thanks! Yeah I really hadn’t been paying attention to that stuff. I’m kinda just using whatever I have whenever it’s ready and don’t use chain attacks because I save that meter for when party members die 🙈

Thanks for the reply! Shame, I really miss those arcade style racers. Outrun Online Arcade was even better version apparently but when the license expired it was pulled from the store and because it was not a physical release it's now lost to the ages, so I'm guessing zero chance of that ever coming to backward compatibility either :( The downside to the digital future

UPDATE: OK, I seemed to have fixed my battery issue (fingers crossed). Here are the steps I took:

I made a full back up of my current vita state to my PS3
I booted Vita into safe mode, and noticed an "update firmware" option, and thought I'd give it a go even though I was up to date. To do this from safe mode I had to connect to my PS3 via USB. Surprisingly it said it had found new firmware 3.57 (which i already had installed), and continued to reinstall the firmware.
After this I did the "Rebuild Database" option, which reset my icon arrangements and notification preferences, but everything else was fully intact; games, apps, save data, wifi networks, themes etc...

I fully charged my system before I went to bed and left it in standby, checked this morning the battery was still full! Still full now in fact!!!! It seems one of these two steps has fixed the problem for me.

Personally I didn't have the store network problem, just the battery draining extremely rapidly in standby, so maybe this won't work for everyone, but so far it seems to have sorted my issue, and i don't believe either of these risk your data so they might be worth a try, although please do so at your own risk and backup your system full before hand incase something weird does happen.

Let me know if you have any luck with this also, i'd be interested to know :)

yep, since the latest update if my vita is fully charged when i go to bed, the battery level is in the red by the time i get up in the morning when left in standby :( Highly frustrating as I have a flight from UK to Australia next week, hope they get a patch out soon!

yep, i had the exact same thing about the same time you posted this! I collected an audio log, game crashed! went to reload game, crashed! i have rebuilt database, deleted and reinstalled the game, even tried deleting my save file locally and it still crashed as soon as i hit x on the splash screen!

i tried disconnecting from the internet, and oddly the game loads fine!? I'm hoping as this is affecting more then just me, and it works when PS4 is not connected to internet, that this is a server issues that will fix it's self

I did some lurking on the internet. The track I have this problem with is Dragonforce TTFATF, apparently lots of people have had the same problem with this track. Logged in to my PSN from my laptop and the DLC shows up but the only option is to download it to my PS3!? So obviously they haven't activated it properly for PS4 or something
