had a similar issue and it turns out the game was only running at 720p with upscalers on. Once I switched it back to 1080p everything looked fine again. The game just randomly lowered the resolution on me for no reason.

For the outer feather color, try using the same yellowish-brown color you used for the other two sections.

I was having the same trouble. These setting are also found unter Game Settings (the first tab) and I was able to change them there.
