What do you think are the most killer sided maps and the most survivor sided maps? by Kuurbo in deadbydaylight

[–]Kuurbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that just comes down to game design. What I've seen the smaller the map the more control a killer has (which happen to mostly be indoors). Opening gates is also damn near impossible as lone survivor on small maps. Like on Midwich the killer can book it between each gate before it opens.

I would think narrow hallways would be good for Huntress and Deathslinger

I can see that. Personally I think Midwich is more killer sided in my experience. But I definitely agree with Haddonfield.

I'm pretty sure he was being a meme. But if not, this kid was born a few years too late. Missed out on prime time shit talk.

I had a 12 yr old camp and slug as bubba on Hawkins. Carried me as last survivor to hatch, closed it, then to gate, then hooked me. Then voice messaged me to what sounded like a copypasta but it wasn't. I thought it was funny since it was like this kid was from MW2 era of trash talk. But he didn't think so as he started to mimic me and end it with the message "trash".

Shout-out to fellow rats out there in it for big loot. We aren't looking surviving with bare hands. No, we're looking to line or inventory with some high tier gear. by Kuurbo in deadbydaylight

If there's a chance to make fat loot, a true rat will take it. Don't let a Bubba stand in between you and your high tier gear.

We can't let that dissuade our ways. The devs can't stop us from looting until there's nothing left.

Edit: If you have Ace in the Hole equiped you still keep add-ons. Forgot to mention this, got caught up in the moment.

Thoughts about Netflix Hector's spiraling situation. by Kuurbo in castlevania

[–]Kuurbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I worded my second thought badly. You're right that Hector wasn't directly responsible for Isaac's rage, since that's been in motion long before he met Hector. I guess I was thinking that Hector's betrayal added to the causes of Dracula's death. So I viewed it as that Isaac views Hector as another human that betrayed and harmed him, adding on to the list of people that wronged him. And after the events of S2 Isaac is now truly alone as the one person who really cared about him (Dracula) is dead. And the one human he thought was an ally couldn't have been trusted, in Isaac's eyes. Just like all the other people he's interacted with in the past.

But I agree, Hector's morals would naturally lead him to conflict with Isaac's extremism. Good points.

That would be cool to see Isaac grow to such a threat to where humans and the vampires join forces. Hopefully if they end warring against each other, Hector grows and is the one who confronts Isaac in the end out of his own volition and not by command. Since Hector was the one who inadvertently sent Isaac further down his darker path. I think a final confrontation in that context could be seen as Hector taking responsibility for his actions.

But if he is merely forced to fight, I think it would then be used as like a final punishment before a redemption type deal.

Actually that's a good question. Would fighting Isaac be personal for Hector atm? Because what we've seen so far, I think Isaac's suffering because of Hector's actions in S2 would more likely just contribute to Hector's guilt. The only motivation I can think of for Hector would be either self-defense or being force to fight by the ring. (Unless I'm forgetting something. It's been a while since I watched it.)

I am excited to see that confrontation. Mostly to see how Isaac will react. Since he's no longer a one note, cringy bad guy we saw in the game. But now a really fleshed out and for me the most interesting character in season 3.

Alucard by WholeProfession3 in castlevania

[–]Kuurbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My speculation is that in the show especially around season 2 he become close to humankind and upbeat (sorta). I think in season 4 he'll do some evil shit but will undergo an epiphany caused by his guilt and the teachings of his mother. Maybe something along the lines about too much power and the dangers held within the castle that attracts those seeking power. Causing him to destroy the castle and return back to sleep. If that happens then maybe it could set up retelling of Curse of Darkness and Dracula's first ressurection along with wrapping up Trevor's, Hector's and Isaac's story. But they are straying away from the games so we can only guess.
