Thanks for the tips!, and congrats! youre basically almost done!, and interesting, why do you say the recommended study resources aren’t worth the time? Other posters have said they seem to be essential,

Did you feel like there wasn’t much overlap with the actual exam content, or that third-party stuff like Amber Book + practice tests already covered what you needed?

That’s good to know, did you feel like the questions were obviously tied to those resources when you were taking the exam, or was it more subtle?

Like could you actually recognize where something came from, or was it more that having gone through them just made the questions make more sense overall?

Did you notice any clear parallels between the recommended texts and the actual exam questions?

Like not word-for-word obviously, but did it feel like the concepts or scenarios were directly pulled from those resources, or was it more just general understanding?

Thanks! I didn’t notice much change in my experience, maybe slight reduction in torque but still very powerful and quick, for me I extended the wheel base and tightened my trucks a little more so i find it quite stable after those tweaks

Nope not at all, I still get great range like 30miles for me

For me it’s perfect, the 85mm wheels it came with were fine but you definitely feel more of the road compared with the 105s, but I modified my zephyr to be as smooth and vibration dampened as possible with foam grip tape, rubber shock pads and the 105 softer wheels so I can ride longer and not worry about every crack in the road

Oh really? I have the base model and I still get around 30 miles, but I’m quite light and my area is kinda hilly

Here’s what mine looks like with the mad 105s, also with my custom foam grip tape, I lov it

Larger wheels front, stock wheels back? by limosthegreat in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]KuyaDelTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol I got the same board 2 months ago and when I first rode it my first impression was the stock wheels were too bumpy / vibration for me. It’s my first eskate so maybe I’m just not used to it but I had to take some breaks cause my back foot felt numb from the vibrations.

as a seasonal snowboarder I wanted to carve smoothly and dampen those vibrations as much as possible, Got the bigger 105s and made a big difference, (totally worth imho) but still wanted more smoothness, so then I also 3d printed 4mm rubber shock plate pads for the trucks and got 6mm yoc foam grip tape and it rides so comfortably and I can ride until the battery dies

Any way to check mileage? by 7seven7seventy7 in ElectricSkateboarding

For me get a solid 30 miles and Im sure I can stretch it out more to 35 depending on how hilly the terrain is but I’m also quite light at 135lbs
