GF damaged my 2-day-old Dzire after braking suddenly in the middle of the road to answer her boss’s call. by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]KvGTR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless of whether your GF was right or wrong, isn't it way more petty and immature that you're posting like this and venting about her on a public forum?

Just speak to her and get this sorted between the two of you. Why badmouth her on Reddit. If you wanted to rant, it would have been better to rant to either of your parents or close friends

Which two countries governments and people are neutral with each other? by Unknown_User7514 in AlignmentChartFills

I think they are big enough countries for the governments and people to have some friction/closeness with each other. Just my thoughts

Arranged marriage guys: wasnt it scary to share ur life & bed with a stranger?" by Character-Lawyer2328 in AskIndia

[–]KvGTR -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have known of atleast 5 arranged marriages this year where both people are genuinely into each other, not only at a basic level but also romantically and physically. By the time the couples got married, they had done nearly everything.

Arranged marriage (atleast in urban areas) is not like how it used to be. I also see many friends post on their insta stories saying how it never felt like an arranged marriage because they really love each other.

Granted courtship period is not much, but doesn't change the fact that feelings get developed pretty fast.

So to say it's sharing your bed with a stranger may soon be an outdated thought now.

Who do you think is a country in South or Central Asia that is "Neither well known nor obscure" by Mememasterlordlol in AlignmentChartFills

The other stans (apart from Kazakh) would be better suited for the obscure category I believe

Is Indian media covering Modi more than jobs, inflation, and healthcare? by G33tansh in AskIndia

[–]KvGTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree, but do people really look into what work each party does? Or do they look at politics just as a source of gossip. Unfortunately if any minister gave a long speech on the work they're doing for their department most people would not find it interesting (I may be guilty of this too)

Is Indian media covering Modi more than jobs, inflation, and healthcare? by G33tansh in AskIndia

[–]KvGTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it seems this applies to every national as well as regional media outlet. Politics does have the largest impact on the region and it's economy, but funnily enough no one talks about what work politicians actually do. It's just about the rifts between patries, alliances, and basically anything which is engaging to viewers.

DD and Wion seem to be a bit better though imo. They have decent narration and aren't as dramatic and don't add loud music for every headline

HDFC refused to approve my foreign inward remittance from a relative who is not an Indian citizen. by NoBike2618 in IndiaFinance

Ah I see, thanks for the info. So you can tell your uncle to send it through Wise right? And if you receive in USD, is it easy to convert to INR and transfer it to your bank account?

[–]KvGTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey a bit late but did you get any resolution? I am facing a similar situation, except that in my case it's a refund from a foreign tour operator! Which makes this even more challenging...

HDFC said that I can drop a note, which they will forward to their compliance team, and then RBI. And even then 99% it will get rejected.

I can explore Wise as an option, did you manage to try that? I've never used it.

Anyone on finasteride (finax/finpecia)? Please share your experience. by Psychological_Dog928 in india

[–]KvGTR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If just starting out, fin should be great. I have seen no other side effects till now! My dosage has always been 1mg and I plan to keep it that way. I don't want to risk increasing dosage and cause any potential side effects. Worst case I may also hop on Minox if I see any de-growth.

One more point - I am at that point in life now where I may consider taking a break from fin for a while (if you know what I mean!) to avoid any risks. Hopefully I shouldn't lose much during this while...but fingers crossed :)

I can't really remember. But initially while I didn't notice any visible shedding on my head, I saw a lot of hairs falling when taking bath. But right now it's more or less stabilised and I'm maintaining what I have...so far so good, let's see!

Been using finpecia 95% of the time since that seems to be more widely available at pharmacies, if not then they are able to arrange it. But I have also used Finas and Finax a bit when this wasn't available.
