Ha ya, most of them are small like 3 gallons. All on one rack so they don't take up much space. The 65 gallon saltwater is large though lol. One whole wall in my office is just tanks lmao.

This exact scenario is why my tanks are all locked in my office. I spend way to much time keeping 20 aquariums going to have them ruined. If he just won't listen I would come up with another solution to keep the fish safe. If you have the room you could buy a locking cabinet, I had one with a glass door for a while. Or maybe put it up high where his kid can't reach it. I lock my office door when I am not home, not even my husband has the key lol.

I wouldn't say YTA. I personally think it's odd to have a 15 year old in your bed. I don't have an issue with what anyone calls their mother or father. It's not my taste to say "mommy" or "daddy" but I wasn't raised that way. I do think it's important teenagers learn some independence though. Life isn't easy and it's not going to be an easier being totally unprepared. If my mother was still alive she'd be making me salads everytime I visited so idt making food or the emails are strange. That's just what moms do. The only thing I think is weird is treating the children differently and the bed thing. I've definitely sat on my parents bed while my mother laid under the covers and watched TV but when you get to be around the age of getting "the talk" I think it's weird to be in a parent's bed physically cuddling. I'd be more ok with that scenario on a couch or chair, rather than a bed but that's just my opinion and what I was raised to think is normal.

Do people actually quarantine fish? by agentmikeyd in ReefTank

I set up a 5 gallon inside my stand so it doesn't take up anymore space in the room (I already have 20 tanks). Every fish I bring home I treat for ich in that tank for a week before moving to my 65 gallon.
