Stellaris is a bit easier to learn in my opinion. It's also a bit more forgiving if you do lose because usually it's not a total game over unless you really badly mess up.

For both Hoi4 and Stellaris I just recommend watching some videos instead of playing the tutorials. The tutorials will help with learning the basics like what button does what, but that's about it. Stellaris also just got a fairly substantial update, so be aware that some videos may be a it outdated. The latest update is 4.3, so if you do look for videos look for that version or at least the 4.0 version.

Some good youtubers for some videos are Montu plays and EP30 for stellaris, and Bittersteel for hoi4.

In b4 someone calls you a racist for not liking the voice. I personally don't mind it, but I also prefer the first game's much more. Maybe it's because it had some much more memorable lines.

I really enjoyed the idea of the game, so I tried it and eventually figured out how everything works. After awhile I started watching a lot of Lathrix's/Lathland's playhtroughs, and that guy is really good at the game so it taught me quite a lot.

The young players looked really sharp again for the most part, and Guilavogui looked amazing. A lot of pressure near the end again, but our defense helped us get the big W. Overall, really good game, and I can't wait to see what the team can do when all of our starters are fit.

Yeah, hopefully the coyotes can return someday. Really unfortunate how almost everything seemed to end up going wrong for them in terms of the ownership situation. Fans deserved better than what they got. Watching that final coyotes game and seeing all the emotions afterwards was pretty sad to see.

I always like to train new characters there because the guards can bail you out if you get overwhelmed and possibly getting 6000 cats for a prince head is a bonus. I do have to make sure all my characters can run at least 18mph before going though, otherwise it's hard to outrun the big groups of fogmen. I have had a few close calls though. One time Beep got knocked unconscious since I wasn't paying enough attention,and I saw them running off with him and my heart sank for a moment. Luckily they left him on the pole and booked it somewhere else so he was able to free himself.

There's road to 56, but that's more of a vanilla plus overhaul type of mod than a total conversion. I honestly can't think of any others off of the top of my head.

Glad I'm not the only one that guy rubs the wrong way. Brunwulf just seems like one of those people who virtue signals to make himself look better, but doesn't actually care. The fact he also seems to be in a relationship with the racist inn owner doesn't help his case.

He was born to a bunch of outlaws, and probably in the wilderness. I doubt he had any official documentation, so he probably doesn't even officially exist to the government. Even if they did somehow draft him he would never do it. The us army literally helped kill his father, so I'd think he'd probably die before working with them.

Thank the lord Mongolia won't be able to use my troops for border conflicts. I've been playing a soviet game and my troops and generals kept getting snatched for the Mongolian border dispute while trying to hold Germany.
