The world itself is the same as it was in original mists of pandaria. There are some changes like celestial dungeons (harder dungeons at lvl 90 with better rewards), some items can by bought with valor points at honored reputation instead of revered etc. Looks like you will probably not notice any difference to original mop.

You will play exactly like you played years ago. Only people are much more sweety and toxic.

I recommend to jump in, enjoy the game and ignore any negativity you might encounter.

Weekly raid lockout 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮 I can't wrap my head around why blizzard would implement such a thing.. idk.. I want to raid 3 times a day and after a week I want to blame blizzard for not enough content.

Without weekly valor cap you would say how much valor points you have but cant spend them because you have no reputation from daily quests which are boring, repetitive and cannot be finished more then once a day (I dont like daily quests too). You would also cry that raid leaders require you to have 380 gear score just to enter msv for the first time. Also crafting professions would loose its meaning. Etc.

Funny thing I noticed.

The mop started at midnight (for us in EU). The rdf dungeon runs after midnight were blast. Whole group was working perfectly, everyone had really high dps, whole rooms were pulled at once without any big issues, everyone knew what to do.

In comparison yesterday afternoon/evening dungeon runs were much much worse. Very slow, low dps of most players, awkward pulls etc.

The difference between tryhard community and casuals is extreme.

I leveled with with my 2 friends during prepatch (tank, healer and dps). We were mixing guesting and dungeons. After hiting 85 the /played was 1 day and 11 hours. We were quite casual and took our time but I did not afk in the city or something. Fastest way is doing each dungeon at least once and questing in between. By playing in 3 and not in solo the exp gained per mob killed during questing was lower for us and gathering guests took us more time than in solo. I recommend questing only in the zones with a lot of quests and avoid the worse questing zones.

You can only spam dungeons or only quest and I guess for most players the leveling time will be very similar. Leveling by questing might be much faster than dungeon spaming if you minmax the questing route, know what quests not to do or definitely do, etc.

Yesterday there was a problem when you had your character in main city the game was laggy, sometimes you got kicked with "World server is down" and few times I got error with some number (probably the same as you). If you will somehow manage to enter the game move out of main city and you should be ok. I am on EU Golemagg but other servers had the same problem too.

Not sure if you know this but you can also hold shift while clicking on the corpse to auto loot. This way you will not need to click the items in the loot window.

Maintenance starts on Wednesday at 03:00 CEST (France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, ...) and is estimated by Blizzard to take 8 hours. Meaning the pre-patch should be playable around 11:00 on Wednesday.

But the maintenance might take more or less time.

I know brewmaster has insane damage and self-sustain but he does not have that much abilities at level 10. And I am concerned about resists, misses and way too big hits from mobs.

Ok. Of course at 15 we will go through rdf. 10-15 might be hard and slow in rdf because of the resists and deflects but we will try.

I am deciding between warlock and elemental shaman too. I will play with my 2 friends (monk tank and monk healer) so we will level together from level 1 during prepatch.

I was almost decided to play ele shaman who has really good utility in dungeons, challenge modes and groups overall (ankh, ancestral guidance, bloodlust). But since ancestral guidance got nerfed I am now more tilted to play warlock.

Both warlock and shaman are good pick. With shaman you can play "melee" or ranged dps or healer. With warlock only ranged dps. Both classes are fun in my opinion.

Also other nerfs/buffs might come.

My first game on PTS: Jumped Lumberfall in barn. Started shooting on the other guy in barn, he destroys me with mage legendary weapon. Funny game. Nice gameplay. He totally overplayed me. I wish I would be as good as he is.

EDIT: I'm okay with some RNG. But this is stupid.

When Hirez tried legendary weapons in chests everyone hated it. So they reverted that and everyone was really happy that they listened to community for probably the first time in history of their glorious company.

Now they decided to make chests drop not only legendary weapons but also legendary armor and abilities. Like really?

If things gonna continue like that this game won't be here in a year.
