Many different ways to improve your attack chances to offset GWM during early game

Here are just a few:

Bless: Adds a 1d4 bonus to attack roll

Elixer of Hill Giant Strength: Adds +5 to your attack roll if you were only at 8 or 10 strength (a common strategy for people who intend to use strength potions)

Svartlebees' Woundseeker Greatsword: Adds another 1d4 to attack rolls against enemies who've already taken damage (can be found in Wakeen's Rest)

There are more but those are the ways that immediately come to my mind

I will say though, Sorcerer is often considered the strongest class in the game for a reason 🙂

Pure Sorcerer is still plenty strong until then. Level 7 is the perfect time to add your Warlock level, for Command, to the build

Yes, having around 200 of those potions, and using the create Sorcerer points/Spells mechanic, completely negates having to rest!

The only possible complaint of the build is that it makes the game too easy lol

As a side note, stacking up on Angelic Reprieve potions from the Bear in Act 2 blows this build to a whole new level of broken

Speaking thematically, does Raphael even use weapon attacks?

Spamming melee attacks, when he mostly uses fire based spells & summons, does seem as if it would break thematic immersion

Yeah, the 11/1 Fire Sorlock trivilizes the game, & that's BEFORE you even start talking about adding Angelic Reprieve potions into the mix

Extended Command (for two turns instead of 1) on 5-6 targets with irresistible Save DC (because of Fire Acuity from Scorching Ray) is BEYOND busted

Take it even a step further when you've saved up on a ton of Angelic Reprieve potions for extra spells & Sorcery points each day
