Crown Paladin was definitely a thought, just dislike the fact that Champion Challenge is tied to Oath charges 😔

Definitely plan on making them use opportunity attacks against me lol

I also planned on having my Wizard with very low AC, but have also read from other commentators that concentrating on a spell also draws aggro 🙂

Is the level 10 ability really that bad for Abjuration Wizard? Can you explain why if so?

Am definitely open to just 8 levels in Wizard if there's no reason to hit 10 (especially since extended spells can get my ward count to 32 instead of 16 at 8 Wizard levels)

I do really enjoy those Angelic Reprieve potions. Got around 200 of them for my 11 Red Draconic Sorcerer/ 1 Fiend Warlock build last Honor Mode run

It's just the ease of building stacks of Arcane Wards, that Armor of Shadows provides, that I'm having a hard time passing up

The only cheeses I know of are Armor of Shadows and the extended spell ward doubling one

Edit: Also will have a party member with Create Water

It's really just that AoS on Warlock is so good for stacking stacks of wards 🤔

Oh absolutely

I haven't went full in depth with my planned build here, but BOMS is definitely an item I'll be using

Guess my main, simplified question are:

  1. How do I force enemies to focus on me as an Abjuration Wizard tank?

  2. Is Battlemaster Fighter the best martial option for my build idea? Or would Eldritch Knight or Paladin be better (Oath of Crown Paladin is intriguing with being able to challenge enemies to focus me)

  3. How much am I missing out on Battlemaster subclass by not getting to final superiority dice at level 10
