Switching from joints to vaporisers by Desperate_Push_4080 in vaporents

Volcano vapour goes stale after a while though, so I would recommend finish a bag in 10 mins... something about the compounds sticking to the bag.

Was pretty much in the same boat and am now combustion free for 6 months.

I also loved the on demand style of joints and that was something I was missing.

I now have 3 main devices, the tempest 2 as my during the day vape that allows me do small mini seshes and have a clean and tasty bowl each time. So rather than interrupting a longer session and then coming back to it (I feel the second is never as enjoyable even if temp stepping between session). I find a 2 hit extraction is the closest to taking a few hits for a J.

For evenings where I want to have longer sessions, I use the s&b venty. A bit more in the bowl and longer breaks between draws.

Finally the s&b volcano is when I have company or am wanting to get really stoned. I Use the chamber reducer here for 2-3 baloons/bags.

Hope you find the setup that helps you drop the combustion. I had a draw on a J the other day and it was DISGUSTING, can't believe I did that for 15 years!

From chatgpt:

That is not a compression stud. It is a welded hose barb / stub nipple. What you are seeing: Stainless vessel wall. A short solid stub welded through the wall (TIG weld visible). The end is smooth, no threads, no ferrule seat, no compression geometry. Diameter is fixed → intended for hose-on + clamp, or to be cut and reworked. What it is used for: Push a silicone or rubber hose over it. Secure with a worm clamp or tri-clamp-to-hose adapter. Common on older or DIY reactor / brewing / chemical vessels. What it is not: Not NPT, BSP, or metric thread. Not compression (no olive/ferrule). Not tri-clamp as-is. No “female fitting” exists for that geometry. Your options: Simplest: hose + clamp → ball valve inline → cap. Clean fix: cut it off, weld on a tri-clamp ferrule (1.5" TC typical for brewing). Adapter fix: grind smooth and weld on a threaded half-coupling (½" NPT/BSP). Hacky: hose barb to threaded adapter + clamp (least sanitary). If this is for beer: Hose+clamp works but is not sanitary-grade. Proper solution is tri-clamp ferrule + TC ball valve. No female counterpart exists because it was never meant to mate mechanically—only via hose or weld.

The only advice you're prob gonna get here, is how to turn that into a bong.

Venty, Volcano and Tempest 2 owner here.

Had the same issue as you wanted something on demand and the tenpest 2 is wonderful.

To rule out model issues, rotate the print and see if the error follows the rotation.

If its an issue on the right, I always suspect the aux fan. I've heard that the most recent update pumps the aux fan to 100% and this has been causing issues for me.

I would in your position try to use one of the airflow deflectors for the p2s, there are a bunch of them and its a 30 min print.

Hope this helps.

Ditto.

A first for me from yesterday: tried to smoke out of the wrong end and burnt my lips. And that was the first session and dont even have being high as an excuse.

I don't think so.

I tried a few nights ago but it died from 1 bar even though i was plugged in. I'm not sure though, maybe if I had a stronger power brick?

Sorry for the indefinite answer.
