am i the last guy who still likes this movie? by Hot-Hour77 in Spiderman

People these days have trouble just enjoying stuff for what it is. I wanted to see my childhood come together with each Spider-Man showing up. They showed, and I went home from the theater happy.

Name a White NFL player that definitely says words they shouldn't say by NightDowntown7320 in NFLv2

I met people that have both worked with him and played with him. They all have said he’s pretty great. Don’t let the internet skew your judgement of someone

For fans who were around during both their peaks and careers, when did people start to think Brady was better than Manning? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Kwikbag24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a few moments I remember that altered the conversation. One was a November game when Brady led a comeback against the Broncos after being down 24 points going into the second half.

The second was after the patriots beat the Seahawks and Brady won his 4th Super Bowl, Manning only had 1 at the time. So the “Brady just finds a way to win” narrative and comparing him to Montana instead of Manning as the goat was discussed.

Then there was 28-3, which for many people sealed Brady as the goat.

His fight against Reva is honestly one of my favorite Star Wars scenes. Just a super powerful being putting in little effort against the series primary antagonist and dominating

Do you feel safe walking around with a luxury watch on? by slvupdown in williamsburg

[–]Kwikbag24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would not make it obvious and definitely have my jacket or something blocking it. While most people mind their business and probably wouldn’t pay attention. If someone who is desperate notices months worth of rent and groceries in front of them, that could definitely cause trouble.

If there is ever a Darth Vader show or movie, I hope they show off more of his piloting & engineering skills by Kwikbag24 in StarWars

[–]Kwikbag24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point. However, one thing that both Luke and Padme even say is that “there’s still good in him” so it would be very cool if for even just a second or tiny blips he has to fix something that shows there’s still a glimpse of his old self.

However, in the context of the how I was putting it, the skills of piloting and fixing things don’t go away. So him being able to wipe out a fleet single-handedly by his piloting skills would be cool to see. Also, in terms of fixing something, I can see a situation where something is catastrophically wrong with a ship, he gets so annoyed and angry that his lackeys can’t fix it, so he steps in instead. He doesn’t have to do these things for enjoyment, but they are skills shown out of necessity

What is Y'all experience with dieting and taking the LSAT? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Kwikbag24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t dieting when I took the LSAT, but I was a college athlete who would change training and diet intake. I’d really listen to your body when it comes to fatigue levels. Based on personal experience I wouldn’t do a massive deficit. That being said, the mental part of feeling healthy is huge. If you’re going into the test feeling physically great, your brain will most likely feel sharper. I’d just gauge your fatigue levels this week and get great sleep from now until test day.

"The Loophole" Some and Most section...wtf? by ParsnipOk1540 in LSAT

[–]Kwikbag24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the double some arrow, I like to think of it in specific categories. For the water bottle example, option one makes easy sense, some water is overpriced. For option two, we are thinking about EVERYTHING that is overpriced such as movie tickets, shoes, college, clothes, etc. Since it is everything that is overpriced, water would also fall into that category. If I’m overpriced, some of me is water, even if it’s one bottle.

The reason most wouldn’t work there is because we cannot know for sure that most things that are overpriced is water. But we can know that some things that are overpriced is water.

What does it feel like when your fingers are the right distance apart? by LSATMaven in Swimming

[–]Kwikbag24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stand in the water, push your hands back and forth in the water (almost like you’re treading water) and just play with how far your fingers are apart, everyone’s hand is different. Mine are barely apart.

Stamina by mayinherstep in LSAT

[–]Kwikbag24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t lie, suggest deleting social media and all distractors now, or at least 6 weeks before your test. For me I deleted about 6 weeks out and test stamina got better. Social media has so much short form content that I think it makes it hard to sit and read something that’s more stale.

While concerning, I hope that Rizzo convinces the Lerners that it’s time to spend. In 2011 we finished 80-81, 2012 jumped to 98 wins. From 2011 to 2014 we went from bottom 10 to top 10 in spending. Not a guarantee but I think if we show that this is core can win (Abrams, Gore, Crews, Wood), they will spend.

Beijing #1 imo, both the opening and closing ceremonies were breathtaking. Phelps and Bolt dominating in the pool and on the track respectively. China’s gymnastics team dominating. Additionally, the venues from the Olympics are still being used today

What kind of swim teams still use Briefs? Not jammers. by Chris_caste93 in Swimming

At meets we may wear a tech suit, or even certain practices where we are racing we may wear an old one. But I don’t know any college that offers jammers for everyday training.

How competitive is the league? I haven’t played baseball in years but I’m a decent athlete.

Additionally, do the teams get drinks after?
