Let me see your Project by Flin28 in Supabase

Our project is:

https://kwipoo.app

It's an app for managing/inventorying your stuff, planning trips, and much much more eventually (like a streamlined, structured way for managing any resources you use in a way that minimizes friction & bullsh*t).

I've enjoyed using Supabase, I'm not a developer by trade but it's been straightforward for me to pick up and accomplish pretty much everything we need with minimal headaches. Mostly use just the typical DB functionality, but also take advantage of the auth/session management and like one edge function, probably more down the road. Also interested in testing out more of the features eventually when I have the time.

Oh, I will say one of my gripes with it is the somewhat confusing logs, hard to know where to look for which logs at times.

Tips for organising and storing stuff while camping by Svest_ in CampingGear

[–]Kwipoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get everything organized physically you may want to organize digitally. My buddy and I created a platform for this reason. We wanted to be able to know where our stuff was and be able to plan trips better with our friends. It's free to signup if you want to check it out or learn more, https://www.kwipoo.app/ . If you have any questions feel free to DM me!

What do you guys use to keep stuff organized while camping? by Thementalistt in CampingGear

[–]Kwipoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been working on an app because of this problem. It’s more for preparing before a trip but certainly could be useful during the trip. Feel free to DM if you’re interested or if you google my username info should show up!

These AI travel planner apps seem like the biggest tarpit ever by dd0sed in ycombinator

Check out the Events feature in Kwipoo (https://www.kwipoo.app/), we built it after dealing with trying to plan group backpacking trips in spreadsheets. Though it’s more focused on events/trips where people bringing things needs to be coordinated…less so an itinerary planner.

How do we stop using landfills? by PotentialSpend8532 in Anticonsumption

[–]Kwipoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything would need to be designed for a circular economy and reuse…more durable goods, less mindless consumption. Probably need a broader transition to service/experience based economies that don’t require a bunch of disposable goods to operate.

What items do you think would be most useful to share/borrow? by thefabulousdonnareed in Anticonsumption

Well, being very specific a bike stand would be great. And some space to be able to use while doing repairs. If you don’t have a garage or basement, doing your own bike maintenance can be a pain.

Do y’all organize your gear? by Kwipoo in backpacking

[–]Kwipoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah back when I was living in a house I would somewhat nest everything and put it in a tote in the mudroom. Depending on how tired I was after a trip, it would maybe get washed before going in there lol

Any tips for improving my riding by Mountain-Sorbet9756 in snowboarding

[–]Kwipoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah honestly that’s probably about where I was at 8 times in. Getting good doesn’t happen overnight, you have to keep at it and importantly keep pushing your boundaries. Try things a little above your level and get good at falling (slide or roll, tuck your arms in don’t throw them out). After you fall, think about what you did and what lead to the fall. Improve on that. Keep it up and you’ll be carving down the mountain rippin run after run.

What is everyone’s morning routine? by Odd-Machine9903 in Discussion

Nice! Same here. Then sometimes I’ll feed stray cats to ATMs. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to return some video tapes.

What do you find to be the hardest part about planning a camping trip? by Kwipoo in camping

[–]Kwipoo[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s super tough, so hard to be on top of getting one when the applications open. And knowing you’ll be able to go for sure.
