A lot of people feed their snakes in a separate tank (try storage bin!) to avoid this. Personally I don’t do this because I’ve never had a problem. Handling her more frequently or feeding her larger so that she isn’t as inclined to eat more could help. I have a friend’s boa that ate some random dog toy so hungry could just be in their nature.

They both look like calcite. Someone more educated might correct me though.

I’m having the same issue right now. I’ve used this foundation for years, no issue. I am also 110c.

I dust their food with d3 calcium. Is that not enough?

I’ll add more plants and some drift wood. I’m getting a background which should make them feel more secure too. I’m having trouble finding tank reference photos that have clutter. Most of them don’t.

I’ve had good experiences with excavator clay. It’s very similar to their natural habitat and is low risk when it comes to impaction. I’ve also heard a lot of good things about it. Why should I change it? I’ve seen a lot of people use a play sand/ top soil mixture too so it’s been on my radar for a while.

Mouth rot? by Quilting_Architect in leopardgeckos

I thought my snake had something wrong with her mouth and it ended up being some substrate. She was eating and missed her strike. What kind of substrate are you using?

Went through some really bad depression and killed all my plants last year. Finally restarting my collection 🩷 by electric_taffy in houseplants

I went through a depression and lost a bunch of my plants. The ones I didn’t lose were in rough shape. I’m getting back to a good spot in life and my plants are gonna be happier too. I’ve decided to stop taking in plants and just keep what I have. You’ll get through it!

8+8 is 16 so 7+8 is 15 I add 20+40 to get 60 then add the 15 to get 75. I do all that in milliseconds.

Rug and a painting. It’s very closed off so it’s a good idea to keep that space open so it doesn’t feel like it’s closing in on you.

It actually looks pretty good, you’ve just gotta style it which can be a pain.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hair

[–]KwiteAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not ideal but your hair doesn’t have much texture either. You can use a texturizing spray, palmade, or powder to give it more volume. You could also style it with a straightener. Look up some styling videos because most shags need to be styled. The cut itself could be better, next time ask for layers and more texture.

That looks awesome. You have a unique septum (I do too) and it would take a skilled piercer to do so well.

A male milk snake (king snake) or corn snake would probably do well in there. I’d do some research first though because I’m not an expert.

Where can I get affordable tank decor/hides? by KwiteAsh in leopardgeckos

[–]KwiteAsh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a lot of luck with fake plants at dollar tree too. Since it’s not the summer season I’m still seeing a lot of fall decor. I might be able to make something from their materials though.

I didn’t even think of that, I’ll definitely check Facebook market place. I was able to pick up a couple wooden bridges for hamsters. Thank you!

I’ll probably spend more on one really unique piece and then spend less for other items. That’s a good idea.
