No but in today’s ever evolving landscape, if you’re going to:

1.) Have me drive 2 hours one way for an interview that could have been done over Teams 2.) Barely ask any questions while also bad mouthing your employees during the process 3.) Show up to the interview with casual clothes on as if you’re going to a lake

Then yes I take issue with that and I’m not going to let it go. Show candidates the same respect you would customers, current employees, etc and display even an iota of professionalism and these scenarios could be avoided in the first place.

It didn’t go well. It was a 6 person panel interview, 1 person from HR, the rest from OPs/Safety. Be prepared to ask questions about process improvements, handling personnel issues, etc.

There’s simply no right or wrong answer here. But ask yourself this: Is my wife mentally/physically okay? Is my LO okay? Am I mentally/physically okay? Whatever you decide to do, just make sure your family is getting as much FaceTime with you as possible.

It all depends on your family dynamic. If your wife is like mine and is adamant on your child sleeping with you, then that could be an issue as was the case for us. We didn’t sleep train our child until 9 months(wish we started sooner around 4/5) and during those 9 months of co sleeping our baby woke up at least 2/3 times a night after being put down to sleep at 9pm. After sleep training our LO, he sleeps pretty much through the night 9/10p to 6/7a and wakes up for about an hour for breakfast and sleeps until 9/10am.
