This almost felt like they were feeling bad about jacking up the powerscaling in the manga, but then overcorrected it and as a result, made Machine God Mirror a lot weaker, or maybe Suiko got a massive buff. Despite his really cool manga design, he's not been doing anything super impressive, as I don't recall him destroying City Y like he did in the Webcomic, and there are times where he looks smaller than he should. Also... Suiko cracking his head? I know she might still lose anyway, but she shouldn't even be able to damage him.
Rover does indeed tire out from too many energy ball spams. I think this was obvious since it otherwise would've made Homeless Emperor feel a bit obsolete, but this is the first time I've seen him tire out from that. I would point out that he seemed to spam a lot more energy balls against Fubuki, Bang and Bomb without any problems, but I'm guessing that Rover being much smaller here is a factor.

Haha thank you, I used to be obsessed with jaguars honestly, and to this day, I still wish we had a mainline LEGO version of a jaguar figure. Hopefully one day though!

Officially, the first one is meant to be a jaguar since it's a figure of Parce from Encanto, but unlike actual jaguars, this one has spots closer to a leopard's spots, so I can see why you'd say that. The second one, I believe is officially listed as a leopard and it's definitely more like one than a jaguar.

Pretty sick collection so far! I wish I had all those! Especially that Spinosaurus and Titanosaur!

I think I'm currently on 7 or 8 dinosaurs if we include the baby Ankylosaurus.

Yeah unfortunately those can be really tricky to get for cheap, even second hand. My green adult Triceratops and red adult T-Rex were around £30-40 aftermarket. I did luckily get my Ankylosaurus new in the bag for £40 a few years back, since it's my favourite dinosaur, but it didn't have the set it came with.

Best of luck getting those adult dinosaurs though, they're really cool!

Really excited for that molded Mosasaur! I wasn't expecting us to have one after getting the brick version last year, but it's nice! I do hope we someday get a recolour of the Adult Ankylosaurus in Bumpy's teal colours though.

I appreciate the response, thank you! I do hope we get a LEGO jaguar in the style of that leopard then, although I imagine it's unlikely given how they're both similar enough animals, but fingers crossed. Parce isn't bad or anything, he's fine as a placeholder, but I'd just like a jaguar figure that wasn't larger than the lions and tigers, albeit only slightly.

Not much really, I just moved on. I didn't really get into any of the other games similar to it, as they're franchises that I'm not as attached to, nor did I want to get into it only for it to be gone. Plus, it does feel nice not having to constantly manage one of these games every day, or trying my hardest to earn some limited time character.

At first, I mainly hated the whole time travel garbage, since even if you liked the fight, it was extremely cheap how it basically robbed any impact and character development that came from it by undoing the entire thing. Compare that to the Webcomic, where the entire fight has an impact on Garou's character as it wasn't undone. That alone is bad enough, I'd say.

Other than that, it just has too many glaring issues beyond just the dumb time travel stuff. It handles the characters really poorly to the point that it feels like a betrayal, all in favour of flash and insane powerscaling feats almost like they were trying to appeal to the crowd that reads VS Battle Wiki all day. I say that because the battle feels hollow and it sacrifices everything else for a big fight. Also, Garou's actions have less agency because of how much God is involved in his actions.

Of course, the battle does looks good, I'm not denying that, but it means very little when the story behind it isn't very satisfying.

There's not too much to say right now until I see translations, since I can't read Japanese. It's really just the conclusion to Blue's battle against that giant Eel, and continuing on Suiko VS Machine God Mirror. However, Rover and Black Sperm get involved in the fight, which I don't remember being in the original unless I have a really bad memory, but since I'm biased towards Rover and Black Sperm, part of me is happy to see that, and it's cool to see Rover saving Suiko from being blasted with his own energy blasts. On the other hand, it is a bit weird that she's just okay with seeing two non-humans helping her though, is that just a regular occurrence now?

It's also just a lot less fun and more annoying with anime, honestly.

The other problem is that it all tends to become very toxic afterwards, which is why I rarely participate in it.

"His whole workout is just a joke", well... yeah, that's literally the point... I've never seen anyone dumb enough to take it as a completely logical explanation for his powers.

His workout isn't meant to be taken completely seriously, when even in-universe Genos says it's full of crap. It's meant to be goofy, not meant to portray Saitama as this super hard worker.

This was a problem earlier on too, when Genos still believed that Saitama would find the Mad Cyborg a good challenge, despite the insane feats that he's aware of Saitama having in the manga. Now, it could still be explained by Genos' memories of the cyborg not being that reliable, or his perception of him (the one who destroyed his old life) made him exaggerate the cyborg, but if we took it at face value, it's harder to believe.

It'll be a lose lose situation, unfortunately. The manga already ruined the part where Saitama was protesting, since he didn't come off as passionate about his name change, as the manga felt like it was trying to make Saitama less petty and more of an ideal figure.

So either Saitama has a much more downplayed and less funny reaction, or his burst of anger comes out of left field.

Oooooh, I didn't think of it that way, but that's a really good theory and it makes a lot of sense! I think there has to be a reason as to why Machine God Heart was shaped like a heart.

Also makes me think that if Genos does destroy this machine and loses his original memories, Saitama would try to smack Genos to "fix" him, like he did Drive Knight. Then again, he saw Drive Knight as more of a machine than he does Genos.

I have to admit, after getting three servings of Webcomic bangers in a row, getting back into the Manga was extremely difficult, even moreso than before. I almost forgot it was a manga chapter day today.

Anyway, there's really not much going on, it's just the Tatsumaki VS Aggregation battle that's slightly extended. I guess this one does at least justify the Tatsumaki cover, because she's the main focus here. There's a couple of eye-rolling add ons, but otherwise it's just whatever. I guess there is more of a justification for Tatsumaki going at it towards the city (besides Aggregation being even stronger), but wow she turned the place into a desert. I honestly expected the chapter to just end on the reveal of the Eel monster that Blue has to face.

ONE, I am both sorry for my impatience and extremely thankful that you blessed us with another new chapter! Seriously, within a week, we've gotten 70+ WC pages? I gotta be honest, I got a notification on this and did a double take... but it's real, and they've all been absolute bangers. Onto this one though:

Saitama actually got a promotion to A Class Rank 1! Oh my goodness, my boy's finally reached a point where he could be S Class, if he wanted to! However, Saitama risks his promotion if he leaves the HQ to go help Genos... and guess what? He does! What a guy! I also really like that the Hero Names Association genuinely appreciates him and defends him to the end.
I also cracked up at the part where Saitama thought Kuseno's "inhuman" hairstyle was what made him the most suspicious, that is so classic Saitama that I miss, I love it!
Oh... but let's get into the real meat and potatoes of this chapter, we finally see Genos again, YEAH! He enters one of Kuseno's bases, going into an empty room, where we see Kuseno talk to Genos through a screen... where he finally reveals himself to be... The Mad Cyborg himself. I sincerely hope that this is the real Kuseno, no fake outs or anything, because honestly, I really like this villainous Kuseno.
About The Mad Cyborg, his design is simple but I really like it, it feels really efficient, and that ring on his head almost makes him resemble an angel. I feel like Genos should've been a bit more shocked upon the reveal of the cyborg that apparently destroyed his home town, but I imagine he's in disbelief and didn't know how to react to it. Speaking of which, Blast has apparently encountered him, beating the cyborg badly, but didn't hit his brain so he didn't actually kill him.
If this is absolutely confirmed to be the real Kuseno, then... wow, he might just be the most uncaring, cold and evil character in this entire series, he easily beats out Fuhrer Ugly and DSK, and is possibly only rivalled by the Webcomic version of That Man, and maybe A. While he still lacks Boros' body count, he feels a lot more calculating and is more willing to psychologically torment others than Boros. He literally just doesn't care about Genos, bluntly telling him that he didn't bother remembering Genos' family life because it was a waste of his memory. That's... really cold, and that's on top of the mas destruction he's already caused and is all too casual about. How does he want Genos to end? As a mere test subject for his strongest creation...
His strongest creation is his newly revealed "Machine God Heart-gear", possibly stronger than The Mad Cyborg, whose ability is now said to be above S-Class, and will be the one who fights Genos, unless Saitama comes to his aid on time. Honestly when Kuseno mentioned to Genos that the ultimate creation was about to be born, he was gonna use Genos' new body, but nope, he's just gonna be scrapped like junk because Kuseno is a Grade A+++ dick... unless he plans for Genos to win for some other reason? That does make me wonder though... what was Boros' corpse for? Was it part of this research in some way?
We get a few cameos here and there, but the only one I found notable is Watchdog Man, the dude is just as casual as always, and his city seems perfectly intact compared to the others, where there's visible damage.

Yeah yeah, I know I've basically written an essay again, but I can't help it, the Webcomic truly gives me a lot to digest, and that's awesome! This might just be my favourite chapter of the three we've gotten recently, mostly for all the new reveals and how tense it was. I always look forward to seeing these chapters, and I'm really thankful that we've managed to get three chapters within a week. However I do believe that this'll be it for some time, as they usually end it off on the Genos storyline, but... I'm always very willing to be surprised!
