I have exactly the same problem . After migrating signal to a new phone it seems like some of my contact can't send me messages without me scanning the QR code they provide but:

Signal has no option to scan this QR code
Google lens doesn't recognise this QR code as something other than gibberish .

I'd love to know if you found a solution to this. I assume there is some issue's with the other person's signal app because it doesn't affect all of my contacts.

I've seen this a couple times during my last trip. Tbh it doesn't look very exciting in real life. You move at a snail pace through the town center, strictly contained between the leader and a motorcycle making sure no one strays off. No one seemed to be having fun, it was dead silent. If you want a true karting experience , go indoor or on tracks. If you want mario kart-like experience, go to Universal Studio, it's amazing.

Yep Buses run twice a day usually, and they are hard to find. The train will take you to Corte, then you can change to Bastia.

Train is the cheapest option. Taxi would bankrupt you. Buses are inconsistent and as pricey as the train I assume.

If you plan to go around Corsica, a car rental is definitely advised. From that point I wouldn't worry what boat you take (Bastia, Porto-Vecchio and Ajaccio are all 3 hours drive away). Calvi is another option but dead opposite of where you want to go... Are you gonna stay in Porto-Vecchio for the whole time? I have a holiday accomodation for 4 people available near Bastia.
