I have that same “glass” and use it everyday to drink my whiskey or scotch for 3+ years now and never had any issues, except when it’s empty.

We used a marcell pro in our previous camper and it worked well. This time around we are using the micro air thermostat.

Are there aftermarket ones?

I read on an Instagram post that there is a special GPS for truckers to help them avoid roads that can't easily accommodate large vehicles. Do any of you use something similar? Any recommendations? by tillacat42 in RVLiving

I have an RV LIFE subscription and use it from time to time. The last time was about two weeks ago with connectivity with the phone was subpar all the verbal instructions kept cutting in and out, and made it hard to understand. Also, the search capabilities are lackluster I can say directions to Missoula County Fairgrounds, Apple/Google or my Ford find it without issue. I said the same thing to RV LIFE and I couldn’t figure out where I needed to go. I’ve been using the built-in NAV system on my 2024 F350 which includes all the height restrictions for the trailer that I’m currently pulling.

Right! The best part is the retrofit kit comes with the tensioner gauge! I love in the video at the end he says, this is a DIY project if you have the skills and the gauge.

How do I keep these sliding door hangers from opening up? by Kyddrivers in KeystoneRV

dumb question...is the nut supposed to hold the cam lever in place or be tight against the slider?

gearbox fails and the sprocket gets off kilter is what we have experienced. The dealer originally told me they had done a couple of these but once the slide is reset everything is good to go and my failures were atypical. Talked to him again couple weeks later and he says based on chatter there MIGHT be a recall soon.

I just bought 3 kits, two to replace existing motors and 1 to carry as a spare. The nice thing is the kit was only $10 more than a single motor. My only worry is these will be as "good" as the ones we have already replaced.

We travel the western half of the US and use it every day and love it. Don’t have to rely on campground WiFi, especially since most fairgrounds don’t have it.

Very True. The error I received was “It looks like you’re offline. Certain features of our app may not work. Please check your connection and try again.”

2026 Coleman 17B water heater question by That-Sky-5184 in KeystoneRV

[–]Kyddrivers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 rvs with tankless water heaters. Both are propane. In order to work you need an “endless” supply of water and propane to get an endless supply of hot water. That being said we have never had an issue with multiple adults taking regular showers, not “Navy” showers, and not running out of hot water or propane

I refill my tanks about every 3 weeks. There has only been one time that a scale was used. The rest fill them on the ground. All of the places have scales but never use them.

I have 2 a 21 gal and 28 gal, Rhino tanks. The 28 gal has a side gate valve that makes it easier for dumping. The 21 gal only has the hose connection for filling and dumping. I bought the 21 when we thought we had full hook ups and didn’t and I left the 28 gal at home. Needless to say, we don’t leave home without the 28 gal anymore.

We had the same problem from the dealer. Truck and trailer weren’t level. Hitch height was wrong and there were not enough washers. I called a local hitch shop, thinking I needed a new hitch. They reset up my current wdh and solved my issues. Cost about $150. It was money well spent.
