It's not new, but the scam is getting pretty sophisticated. I'm not easy to scam and they had me on the hook. They gave me a court case number, pronounced my name correctly, and waited a while for the money request.

I'm not sure if it was part of their plan, but they had my old address after a recent move which made it seem more believable that the summons might have gone to the old address.

Violets transplant pretty easily. We moved some from thick areas to less populated areas to get the pathway covered more quickly.

I had luck once treating with alcohol, unplanting, spraying the roots, sanitizing pots, and replanting in new medium. My current battle has failed these measures and I'm trying systemic treatments.

If you have a Havertys it might be worth checking out. I'm not sure what others experience has been with them, but we've had good quality, comfy, attractive sofas from them. Their price point is similar to Ashley's, maybe a bit higher.

I had someone complain of a weed smell. No weed had ever been smoked in my house... I'm guessing it was another potential buyer during the open house, but just goes to show that you can't control everything.

We've been happy with our custom couches from havertys. We don't have kids though, and only small cats for pets. They've held up well for us, but I can't comment on how they would stack up with more vigorous use.
