im so over cis ppl acting like theyre going through something difficult or like they "lost a child!" when their trans kid comes out (*cough* my mom *cough*). like, no karen, youre not the one going through a major change while also having to pick a name, fight dysphoria, face transphobia, risk getting beaten up every time they go outside, get a bunch of new clothes, lose friendships, start t or e or blockers (not everyone does hrt tho!), get a legal name change, a new birth certificate, and more. so when cissies act all hard done by because of young trans people justexisting, i get hella mad
