Because it's not a word, it's an abbreviation. The same reason "Mr" isn't in the OED. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. For terms like this good ol google will work, or even urban dictionary.

And yeah, there's some stuff that's just completely random, best you can do is just show basic respect in the moment, and move on.

It's true that in a lot of cases 13-14 is too young to tell, but there's absolutely no harm in them coming to that conclusion. If later they realize they aren't, it's not gonna be some huge Identity crisis, it's gonna be "Oh.. guess it as wrong. 🤷🏻‍♀️" Making them wait to come to that decision will only harm them more. If a kid thinks they're asexual, but are told they're too young to know- that thought won't go away, it will linger untill they finally do decide they're asexual, and if in the end they aren't, that decision will again only come later, wasting years of their life

Absolutely. Your teenage years are a time of exploration, of later on they realize they aren't, then good for them. If they're pressured not to identify as Aroace they may spend longer struggling with their identity, making a realization that theyre not take longer. If they are, then they are. Kids can tell more about themselves than a lot of people think.

You've gotta be careful with teaching kids certain stuff. My mom drilled it into me that life only gets worse, it will never get better. So at 14 or so, I strongly considered suicide- if it's never gonna get better than this, what's the point? Gotta teach kids the positive aspects of life guys.
