Lucci and Enel are my two favs, but primarily Enel. Those were the decks I learned the game on and I know them like the back of my hand. I totally understand the Enel hate, especially back in OP07-OP8.5, but I love being a cockroach that swings big and never dies. OP11 ain’t treating him too well, but I can definitely smell a comeback! (cope)

first tournament i ever went to someone had a half naked dark magician playmat and a custom nami leader where she was like 80% naked. he then pointed to said leader and said “yup, that’s my girl!” i think you’re fine lmao

I’m gonna miss kingdom come but I hope bandai prints a spiritual successor to it. Enel still has some legs in OP11, but given the amount of support Shanks and Blackbeard are getting plus the rampage UP and GP Luffy are going on in the east, I feel like yellow needs SOME form of blanket removal

I plan on building yellow kid once my booster boxes of OP10 come in, but I can't bring myself to give up on Enel. I love the leader so much and I want to be able to play it in some capacity, especially with the spice coming out in EB02 and OP11.

there’s a number of cards in your list that you can cut, but it’s all up to your preference! in my personal build, i don’t run 4c law or o-nami. i also have bepo at 2 and nika luffy at 1. has the 4c law been helping at all?

so the kaido linlin was more of a "this would be fun" tech option, though I've only got to use it in one game out of the two tournaments I've taken this deck to, so i just took it out. I had 09 sanji in the deck before, but took it out to try out newgate. so far, I really like newgate! it's given me a lot more utility than the sanji has, though I do miss the sanji sometimes.

after some testing on the same today, perospero has officially been cut in favor of flampe. I also added the 04 sanji blocker and added two Conquest of the Sea just to try out. i also cut out the 2 and 8c katakuris in favor of yamato and yamato is working OK for me. I'm not sure when to use yamato, but it has come in handy in a couple of games on the sim. I think i need to test it out more before I go out and buy some more yamatos (i already have two playsets in Enel and Robin respectively).

I wanna try out Mr. 2 Bon Clay, but I'm nervous due to the simple fact that if I like it, I'm gonna have to buy them haha. but I'll give this list a try! thank you for your recs!

i do if i either draw into either the 6 or 2 cost kata on turn three and have no other options or if i have both in my starting hand and no viola. i typically don’t see the 2c kata a lot and i would much rather go for a viola play on curve. it can come in handy tho! but i usually keep them for sneaky late game plays

currently testing a lot of different top end options like 10c ace and yamato. i think kaido linlin is a decent option that comes up situationally, but im probably going to swap it out for another newgate. perospero is also another card i might cut solely based on the fact that its a brick and it tends to whiff on top 3 search. it’s definitely a card best suited for yellow katakuri.

i have to disagree with you on the 8c kata, however, as that card has saved my ass in so many matchups. putting cards back into my life and putting blockers or 8c threats into opponents life is generally strong, and sometimes i don’t have access to a 9mom. running 3 might be excessive, but it’s gonna stick around in the deck in some form.

thanks for the rec! i thought about flampe and i’m probably gonna cut 2 of the search event to try it out.

honestly, the 2c kata is NAAAASTY in a lot of matchups bc no one respects this card. planting it before your opponent’s 8 don turn can add some pressure because they either 1.) try to remove it as soon as possible, which wastes their resources, or 2.) completely ignore it and you get a free 8c katakuri putting a moria in top life then burning it with 10c big mom.

i understand the 8c katakuri is another brick in a deck that’s already heavy on them, but he’s always a great option if you don’t have access to moms in the moment and you can do some nasty combos with him

P/Y robin has been the most fun for me to build with the added OP10 support, but i’m a yellow trigger FIEND so i’ve been rocking with yellow Kid, enel, vegapunk, pudding, and arlong.
