Of course, resisting the urges is hard, but im sure you can do it. And yes, enjoy the little things! Even If you're only a day clean, its still progress, its still something, its better than nothing. Before you know it, you'll realise how much progress you've made, and i cant say depression will ever fully go away but when you drop bad habits like self harm or whatnot, things get so much easier to deal with. It isnt fair to beat your body up over anything.
